Amazing on how the same two machines hit over and over again and others are total duds. I have a lot of trouble believing totally in thr RNG when you see things happen over and over again. Anytime I vary from these two machines, well at least 80 percent of the time I have a losing session. My wife plays strictly nickels and usually DDB Ultimate X. Same deal out of maybe 20 machines only two hit regularly. I would normally say hogwash if I didn’t see the patterns in millions of hands.
I agree 100% Olds there are machines here play the same as you see. People that don't believe in this are people that don't play near the amount of hands we do to see what we see. There are a few banks of machines I never play do to past play that was never any good.

I will say one more thing. I have played a lot of Wolf VP for fun, some VP on this site, and some VP for fun on other sites abd I have never seen patterns such as those on the banks of dud machines at the casino. Finally, right near one of my 99 percent machines is an 8/5 job etc machine that hits Royals and quad Aces like there is no tomorrow. It is always being played. I won’t play it because of the paytable, but sometimes I wish I did.

Bankroll Bust last evening. No quad deuces or Royal. About 6,000 hands played. Also got too aggressive I went from betting quarters to dollars and skipped halves. Near the end of the bankroll, my bets were up to 20 bucks a hand!!! Too crazy. I was dealt 4 to a Royal and unfortunately didnt connect.

We cannot continue to shrug these trips off. The phrase “bankroll bust” must simply be eliminated from our vocabularies this year. We are all way too seasoned to fall prey to this fate! Two thirds bust max. And that is still excessive.

I skipped today’s trip in favor of a detoxification Saturday. Things have really unraveled. I felt invincible after the string of handsome hits. Well, the reckoning came. You abuse the right, you lose the right. I’ve got to get a grasp of responsible gambling.

Broke my personal record and not in a good way. Five consecutive trips losing and mostly busting. Well over 30,000 hands without hitting quad deuces on regular deuces wild. Success can be so fleeting. Probably about even for the year now. To rub it in, they gave me quad aces without any deuces three times last night. Pay off of course is only 4 for 1. The same machine went 36 straight misses Holding two pair and not connecting with the full house. I was playing Airport deuces which is just under 99%, but it didn’t make any difference this trip or the last four before this one. I am not that surprised since I am fighting a slightly negative EV. Just disappointed. I did have one positive small but nice experience. I treated myself to a nice dinner of sea scallops and a cup of lobster bisque with peach pie for dessert. And over the course of the evening, I enjoyed four ice cold Amstell lights. Heading Home now after enjoying my morning Starbucks coffee and their really good roasted ham egg and Swiss sandwich. Waited nearly a half hour in line though at the Starbucks at the casino. What a gold mine they have.

On WOV forum, a guy from Australia just discovered the martingale. As usual his idea is to double up on losses because a really long losing streak doesn't seem possible.

When someone pointed out that streaks are possible and they wipe out any potential advantage, he responded that he'll take breaks between some of the hands. I thought to myself, olds jetaway has a kindred spirit Down Under. 8-)

Yum.

I don't think you've mentioned players club benefits much lately. Are you happy with your Momentum club rewards?

I hope you rebound with some big wins and big benefits.

I thought that three straight losers were bad. This is turning south on us in a hurry. The only fish you caught beyond your meal were VP minnows. I have ingrained/brainwashed myself into laying off the damn machines for one full hour next trip. I’m not letting the SOBs ruin my weekend in an hour’s time yet again. I’ll run straight into the safety of their bankrupt barnacle laden mall over the ocean. Hey, it sure kills time. Walking on eggshells at this point. They killed Caesar and his ghost is killing me.

Except for some glitches in mismatches in the online and Vip reservation system as of now I am pretty happy with the Momentum rewards at Mohegan sun. The biggest glitch which is quite frustrating is the website very rarely lists the complementary rooms that are available and they have been unable to fix it he goes back to last October. So you never know where you stand and have to call Vip services all the time. Lately they have been giving me really nice rooms in the upper floors in the aspire section top notch rooms very very nice I’m sure they would cost 34 or even $500 a night just as an aside, I do not use a double up system and that’s why I call it martingale clone it is much more scaled-back than that and still you can bust your budget on a cold machine night pretty easily once in a while you get lucky and when your bats get really high you’ll hit A royal or the next best thing like for deuces but those are few and far between are usually wait at least four consecutive losses before increasing my bed by one unit and I also back my beds down when something hits even then there are no guarantees because in video poker as everybody knows a dud Street can last an entire session
