If you can go later this month during the 5X TC promo, with one big session you can reduce the number of trips...

I will say one more thing. I have played a lot of Wolf VP for fun, some VP on this site, and some VP for fun on other sites abd I have never seen patterns such as those on the banks of dud machines at the casino. Finally, right near one of my 99 percent machines is an 8/5 job etc machine that hits Royals and quad Aces like there is no tomorrow. It is always being played. I won’t play it because of the paytable, but sometimes I wish I did.

i too like to tamper w/ my betting structure and as you state before doing so on other games like ddbl would not end well. i also notice with one 100$ buy in purchased me alot of play time on hi-er denom which meant more comps/points and finally struck the 4 ducks, i can think of more pros than cons of playing aggressive than flat betting i mean face it Bob wouldn't be bob had he stuck w/ .25 all his time in vegas, i dont care how you structure it as long as your in the hi limit room eventually you will nail the jackpot!

that hi-er denom saved me bankroll a few times prevented me going home a would be loser, earned hi-er comps and almost hit the 2k jackpot but alas wasn't meant...overall its more fun

as you mentioned earlier you played many different video poker manufacturer and the only two things i can pin my belief is the type of shuffle the RNG engine does inside the microship (only the program writers know this) and good/bad timing, a different shuffle of the rng engine yields different results atleast short term wise after a mil it may or may not matter

The trip up last night went well using the clone. This morning not so good, again pushing it too far, but managed a plus 400 overall for the trip. I hit 5 straight flushes on Joker Kings overall and some of the 17 for 1 quads with big bets in. I only took a couple of pics but here they are. Played single line games only. Overall, I do much better with them on an ice cold cycle. I had 3 shots to complete a Royal that would have paid over 10 grand each, but it didn’t happen. No wild royals either. Overall, an ok trip though. Just pissed at myself for giving back 500 this morning.

Quad Father, you're muscling in on my turf. Try hitting SFs with natural cards. You might have got seduced by a false sense of achievement, then crapped a $500 brick on the back end to halve your tribute money! That's a lot of olive oil. That's just bad business.

I actually had one natural straight flush on the redraw. A rare one at that. A,2,3,4,5 in clubs. Dollar bet too with five in. I screwed up somehow and hit deal for the next hand before I got the pic. There were two other fake ones as well with the Joker. Easy way out! I think the Governor is pissed as well. No 7 percent for the greedy State this time. I don’t mint paying my fair share even though they squander most of it. But taking it off the top with no writeoff ability, is outright thievery.
It reminds me of my all time favorite series. Boardwalk Empire. Seeing Nucky standing in the water at the shore in Atlantic City wearing his alligator shoes with all of that expensive booze washing in reminds me of this scenario. That on top of the olive oil that somehow went rancid.

What a great shame. Easy come, easy go!

Expanding on the thread title, I think that it is better to contract or constrain time. The smaller the play window, the better. Keep BR or even turn a profit instead of hanging around and catching a brutal cold cycle. The marketing department will shut off the faucet. But being a great customer has dire consequences baked in.

Also, of course, you could "hang around" and catch a royal.

Like at the tail end of my February Harrah’s session, sure. Which outcome is likelier? 40,000:1 or Bust?

Back to basics again. These 2 rare hits last night brought me pretty close to even again for the year. Hope it will last. One can never figure VP. Both dealt and only about an hour apart.

I hadn’t planned on a multi line game, but the 800 and 940 for one for the Royal sucked me in. The deuces paytable was bad. In hindsight, shouldn’t have played it. You never know with short term results
