The definition of insanity frequently eludes you, Olds.
At least the comps are sky high attractive. They do not skimp and are only regretting it this year.

Except for some glitches in mismatches in the online and Vip reservation system as of now I am pretty happy with the Momentum rewards at Mohegan sun. The biggest glitch which is quite frustrating is the website very rarely lists the complementary rooms that are available and they have been unable to fix it he goes back to last October. So you never know where you stand and have to call Vip services all the time.
I do remember at some point you mentioned that your free rooms disappeared. I'm glad it was only a computer glitch. I think every casino operator has glitches with its online interface.

I'd like to see someone attempt full martingale at video poker -- doubling the bet size on every consecutive loss. As you've noted, you'd have to find a machine with an unusually wide range of denominations and ideally the ability to bet more than 5 coins.

It would never work. Your ninth bet would be 1,280 bucks. Even jacks or better can run 30 consecutive losses once in a while and it is not that uncommon in deuces wild. I have seen deuces wild go into the 40s for consecutive losses not counting pushes.
I am lucky or unlucky depending on how you look at it. I not only have the ability to bet up to 25 quarters, I can then start with halves on the same machine, and then even to dollars.
I did hit that rare Royal as I was in the process on almost getting wiped out a couple of months ago. If I remember, I had 21 bucks bet. Good for 16,800 before taxes. The State grabbed 1,176 bucks, but that was my choice having them hold back the max 7 percent.

When someone pointed out that streaks are possible and they wipe out any potential advantage, he responded that he'll take breaks between some of the hands.
Yes, 30 consecutive during the same session.

But have you ever lost 30 consecutive, divided across 11 or more sessions? I never have, nor do I know anyone else who has.

It's not my system, but I have my interpretation. If you lose 3 in a row, you fly home and come back later. Very clever. I'm calling it the "Smartingale" system.

Artificial stopping points have no effect on streaks or long term results.

I haven’t kept track of that. Right now, on job, I am comfortable increasing my bet after 4 consecutive losses not counting pushes on JOB. It helps to have a bankroll of between 1,000 and 2,000 to be able to hang in there. I have come out ahead doing this several times playing this way even without hitting any quads and of course no Royal. I have noticed the full houses paying 9 for one tend to hit after a cold stretch and sometimes just a few hands apart. My recent streak of 5 losing sessions is mostly my fault. For instance, trying to speed things up by increasing bets after 2 or 3 losses and not backing down after hitting something decent. For instance, if I hit a full house at bet 8, my next bet will be st bet 6 not even 7. I also used it on Joker Kings snd Deuces wild the same session but the progression after 4 losses is too steep long term for those games. Next trip will be tomorrow It has been about 40,000 hands since my last Royal, so we will see what happens. Also for the most part, my sessions have not been hitting JOB quads as they should. They have been hitting between 700 and 1200 hands apart.

That was my killer last time. BP/JOB Quad after 800 hands squandered so much bankroll. In an attempt to break even, of course I busted.

Here again. This better not be bust number 6. As they said in the old days when I was growing up, sometimes you just have to prime the pump.
