Saw a younger guy (30's) screaming and cussing out an older fellow (80's or 90's) the other day at the grocery store, because the older guy accidentally started pushing the younger guy's cart thinking it was his own. Apology did nothing to calm the young man and he looked like he might get physical for a few moments but ended up pushing his cart away down the aisle, screaming cuss words back the entire way. The older man said nothing except that he was sorry and had pushed the wrong cart by mistake. There is a lot of anger in the air these days but this was one of the saddest displays I've seen in quite a while.

As others, I wanted to say something to the young man but thought better of it. It wouldn't have ended well for either of us (and probably worse for me).

Everything as far as human behavior goes is headed in the wrong direction. Maybe partly Covid, but I blame most of it on improper upbringing, lack of respect and discipline taught at home, and of course and unfortunately broken homes. Drugs to say the least doesn’t help either. Time is not our friend the longer we descend into these patterns. Just on the hour long drive home today from the casino I could have easily gotten into at least four altercations with absolutely insane drivers. Reluctantly, I let it go.

If someone lets me into a line of traffic, I always make it a point to wave to the courteous driver, hoping to spread at least a little bit of goodwill and friendliness.. It is crazy how many drivers today take it as a personal affront that another driver might actually want to enter a long line of traffic. Last year I nosed my way into a line of traffic at a construction site and the driver behind me (older man, late model pickup) actually chased after me screaming and waving the middle finger at me.

Another thing I am seeing more and more is the texting driver who sits at a red light texting and when the light changes he/she does not notice and continues texting. Then they jerk their head up at the very last second and just barely make it through the light, leaving a line of mad drivers behind them.

Same experience here. I even wave at a local 4 way intersection if myself and another driver get there at the same time and he blinks or waves me on. Funny, I have never had a female driver wave or blink me on. I hate to stereotype, but I already know most will agree with me. The worst in general are jacked up pickup trucks sometimes loaded with stickers and bumper stickers, many vws other than beetles, BMWs, some high end Mercedes Benz, Ricers, and almost anything with blacked out windows and license plate covers making the plate hard to read. No matter what anyone says or writes back, at least up here in the Northeast the above applies. Guess I need to work in some vp here. Heading up tonite with the Mrs. heat wave here mid 90s and super humid. Need to take it easy on the bets. The Mrs will oversee that I am sure. Staying away from the lounge in light of food safety and protocol issues.
PS…. Ifanyone doesn’t know what ricers are, usually lowered Honda Civics with stick out wheels. Black out windows loud irritating exhaust and I will catch heck for this one…. Almost always driven by minorities. Their favorite thing to do is weaving in and out of traffic and getting nowhere

Well about time. Destroyed on quarters. Decided to give it a shot on dollars with my last 300 bankroll. Looooooong time since I held one and nailed the Royal. Love getting the 940 for one instead of 800. Just about even for the year again so not complaining.

This is how I felt after hitting that Royal. Doing a burnout and running the quarter mile in my prior baby 65 Olds 442. The one in the blurry photo here I snapped from a YouTube video. This one has 1300 hp. mine was the stock 345 hp with the 400 cube factory engine. It looks identical to mine though color and all.
