Big heater.

I've never had such a hot streak. In fact, I can't recall the last time I had a losing session. Possibly it was back in August or so and most casino visits have resulted in a handpay jackpot. Between new babies at home, new work hours and a new home my days are busy and I only gamble about once a month - often while trading beer with Vman96.

These were back in October and November.

After this one I used some of the proceeds to buy a new phone. The camera was all but gone on my old one.

TDB continues to pay, but his time for quarters.

By now, my "jackpot pocket" is stuffed and siphoned some out to buy my new fridge.

One day, TTB gobbled up my $800 stake and I decided to take a potshot at the $5 machine I occasionally dabble with. I've always dreamed of a $5 AWAK. But not on bonus. Haha

A few days later I got the itch and only took $400, which isn't enough for dollar TTB play, so halves it was. It didn't take long.

Jackpot pocket was filled once again. I wanted to go to the casino and mama wanted new patio furniture. We both got what we wanted.

Unfortunately, Chicagoland's VP mecca the Majestic Star was bought and closed. It was replaced with a shiney new Hard Rock casino. The best games I saw there were around 98% for dollars. Quarters and halves were lower still.
Maybe there is a hidden gem I missed, but I doubt it.

Positive variance to all of you.

I didn't play much at Majestic PPP and I'm waiting until some of the newness wears off Hardrock before I check it out. From what I heard; Hardrock will begin expanding the casino within 6 months.

Best of luck to you too.

I went on opening day.

It is nice and new and off course filled with slot machines. The VP was sparse- most Game Kings all had the 6 same games on them: JOB, BP, DDB (9/5), TDB (9/5), DB and deuces. Quarters and halves were worse. I didn't see any progressives. I was hoping for a 5 Star machine for some Dream Card or Quick Quads, but no. There was some All Stars and the usual Ultimate X and Ultimate X Gold, Hot Roll, ect.

Curious how the expansion at Hard Rock goes.

Nice run, I just can't do DDB not my cup of tea but understand the lure to the game.

I stopped by Hardrock Northern Indiana early this morning to check it out as it is only 20 minutes from the office and I had to stop there anyway. First stop was the player players club to pick up a card and they tier match so I got bumped to Icon. I took $500.00 with me and as PPP reported; VP is a bit short. On the 10 play All Star games there is no TDB. They had some Super Triple Play with TDB so I sat down and promptly lost $300.00, I did hit 1 four of a kind for $125.00 but to me the game isn't worth the extra 10 coins unless those 4OAK's hit. I bailed and went to an All Star game and decided to play some Super Times Pay 10 play DDB for .05 denomination just to get a feel for the place. My second hand holding a single ace I pulled the other 3 with a kicker for $100.00. About 15 minutes later I was dealt 3 to the royal and nailed one of them for $200.00. The machine was up and down, got dealt trip aces a bunch of times and didn't connect on any of them. I was down to about $125.00 and I caught 3 to the royal again in diamonds and pulled a second royal for $200.00. This put my meter back up to about $325.00 and I cashed out at $300.30. Bottom line was a $200.00 loss. The place, as PPP said, is new and nice. Mask wearing in there is hardly enforced and smoking is allowed in there. I doubt this place will become a regular stop for me but best of luck to those here who do go there.

The smoke is the bigfest bummer for me. If they bring it back indoors in CT, If I play at all it will be to the crappy vp paytable MGM in Springfield Mass. Extra half hour ride too.

No. It is Nevada Mist granite. It doesn't show in pictures, but it has a lot of blue running through it - which I thought was cool.

I looked at Cambria, but needing 75 sq feet of it, would have been pretty expensive.
