Bonus Poker Deluxe

Post by olds442jetaway »

I am going to give this game a shot at Mohegan Sun next trip up there. I am on my all time worst losing streak there so have cut way back on trips. Also have some Covid concerns based on the 8 months since my Pfizer shots. The latest I am reading is protection may now be down below 50 percent. No Boosters out yet, but soon I think.
So far, the best pay table I have found for this game is 8/6 on a quarter game or 98.49 return. I haven’t researched fully though up there. Using Martingale Clone, unless quads hit regularly at 80 for one, I will be finished off in short order, so my step bet increases will be slow. Will let the gang know how it goes when I get going on it. I hope I can find a 99.64 9/6 game, but don’t have my hopes up.

I think this is probably my favorite game apart from Loose Deuces. The increased quad bonus across all quads, and no need for a kicker is perfect in my opinion.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to find it too many places.

Olds, there is no full pay BPD at MS, unfortunately. The absolute best game that exists, aside from 99.95 Pick'em is 100.76 DBDJ at $1 min but the strategy for that game is tough. Without the royal coming at expected intervals...well...

I know a Deuces wild game exists 100.76.and table of 25/15/9/5/3/2, but I dont think at Mohegan. Sorry, I can only guess what game the initials stand for. Double Bonus Double Joker?

Ahhhhh. Thanks for the update. I will see how I do with the Deluxe game for now, but in the meantime, poke around and scope out the other goodies. Just can’t get my arms around Pick’em. Stay safe and well everyone.

My wife and I love BPD the pay tables not the best but enjoy the 400 coin quad

I am another BPD fan. You are basically frantically racing to the quad every session, so it is stressful. I was unsuccessful today at Borgata and had to switch back to JOB for my quad, thus my losing day there.

Another short coin scared money session coming up tonite. The only consolation is I can find at Mohegan 800 for bet one quarter machines still in the 98.5 percent range. That way, even with scared money, I can bet a quarter at a time on BPD and not increase my bet until I have lost 80 quarters without worrying about a short coin Royal penalty. My consecutive losing sessions now number in the mid teens. i’m not even counting anymore. Yesterday, a guy was playing next to me. DDB. Five lines. 25 bucks a pop. In ten minutes he caught 4 dealt 3’s. ( no dealt kicker ). Then he caught a Royal on one line, then another dealt low number quad. So he had hand pays of 8k total in ten minutes. He took a check for the 4k, pocked the two 2k hand pays, then gave back 1k as the machine turned to ice. Smartly, he had good discipline and packed it in. My machine just started and stayed like ice till my scared money bankroll was gone. And such is the nature of VP.

Gining means expecting nothing in return. Every time I see this "gave back" term as it applies to video poker play, I cringe a bit. People do not 'give back". Playing more and losing is not "giving back" any more than each losing bet is giving the wager away. We wager hoping for a positive result, but if we don't get that positive result, we have not given the wager away, we simply tried and lost.
