Bounce Back Free Play

I was just wondering if other casinos are doing this. I recently cancelled several room reservations at Mohegan Sun. Have been beaten up very badly of late on their VP machines. Today I got a free play offer on email called Bounce Back Free Play. It is only good for tomorrow and a comp room is available. Usually I run about 5,000 through their machines a session, but plan this to be a short trip with at most 1,200 coin in. The free play is 60 bucks. If I stick to 9/6 JOB, at 99.54 return, the free play will give me roughly a 4.5 % advantage. I plan on taking advantage of it. The Mrs will go too and play her usual games with a small bankroll. They offered her a little free play as well.

There seems to be something funny going on industry wide. Not only am I way way behind on Royals again, I can’t even seem to hit things like quad deuces or 5 of a kind on Joker Kings anywhere near normal frequency. . Quads on JOB like hen’s teeth. My last visit saw NO Regular vp players. I hope there isn’t funny business going on and the oversight people are missing it. I have no proof of same. Only what I see in the continuus patterns of dud cycles.

I see the same patterns to get us there. The problem is if we go and play as usual, my losses approach tenfold the value of the free stuff they are offering.

Thanks Wildman. Desert Diamond casinos are in Tucson area and the West Valley. Not where I go.

Our new local seems to give 4-4.5% bounce back of losses. So, if I go and lose $800, I'll get an email a day or two later with a $35 FP offer. $55, if I happen to lose $1200. If I win, I get zero. One time I played for about 3 hours and lost $1.25 - I got 10 bucks. Generally, I only play 30-60 minutes.

Games are crummy though - dollars are in the 97-98% range. Quarters, even less.

I wonder how much 4% bounce-back (on a losing day) adds to the payback percentage?

Probably not a lot. If you could reliably lose 10% every session, bounce-back would only gain you 0.4%. And that's not easily accomplished on a 98% game. You'd need high volatility and big bets. That's why I usually hate loss rebates because to optimize the value, you have to take big risks.

I would want to try testing the slot club to see if it registers wins when the card is pulled mid-hand on a dealt winner. I'm not sure "card pulling" is effective anywhere these days, but there's probably no harm in trying.
