What a disastrous trip. My $50 FP resulted in -$250 net. We got greedy and the casino has earned five to fourteen times its investment in We the Sheeple. There better be a jackpot at the end of this soap opera. I think that I will simply take my umbrella to the beach and stay there. Play seventy minutes and live with the results. I never win a damn thing from 12-3 PM anyway. Machines as cold as weather is hot.

By far, my best winnings and jackpots have been between 4 and 6 AM. Almost nobody plays at those hours. Slot attendants agree. At least the ones that have been employed 20 years or so at the same casino. I have no explanation. Only my own results and history. Next hand pay if I even get one again, I may start posting the time from the actual W-2G. My usual play time runs between 10 or 11 pm till 7-9 am.

Thanks. Interesting food for thought. Most starting before midnight would lack the time/funds to endure until your apparent MS sweet spot. Same with my black hole. Without jumping to a conclusion, we can treat these deserts as Death Valley. Definition of insanity. 🏜

I had a bad encounter with a longtime attendant. She pointed me to a machine and whispered that it had been hitting at this time of day. Of course I asked how long she had been there, she said 20 years.

I played and failed to hit anything above a full house. Went back to her and asked are you sure you've been here 20 years? This was in April 2022. She said yes, since July 2002.

That's not 20 years, it's 19! :ouch:

Throw your shade. Server gods may well be up to something, as a former member strongly asserted. I'm not just bemoaning the lack of a jackpot. I mean bankroll annihilation at certain chunks of a day.

The biggest detriment to a possibly successful session is a limited bankroll and lack of discipline. Don’t I know both so well

A solo trip to Bizarro planned for tonight. Have a little free play and comp room. I will try and remember to post the highs of coin in and ending session results. That way over time, the gang can get a sense of the Martingale Clone workings over time. Even with good discipline, the hardest part is when to pack it in on an up session. I could be wrong, but I expect nearly every session to have an upside no matter what I do after the fact. If the total of the upside amounts do not exceed my bankroll bust limit of 1,200 then what I need to do is trash the Clone. Guess I will see what happens.

Do you mean "strongly" as in "strongly supported by evidence"?

Up 64 bucks so far playing quarter Joker Kings. Took a break to check in and get coffee. I wanted to post the upside early in case of discipline failure and or things go South. Bailed out by a nice straight flush hit using the clone. My bets are starting at just 25 cents, so 64 bucks ain’t bad. The highest I had to go so far was 8 quarters bet.

I agree that you have to start small and escalate ever so incrementally on an eight hour session. How the hell else will you survive? One bad cold spell will wipe out $400 of a $1,200 bankroll. Then you’re miserable for the balance of play.
