Re: A Trip to Bizarro World!
Of course not. It is just Bizarro world. That said, not the end result, but I think the cycles of hot and cold are different on the really old machines. I will confirm that if I play a 95 percent really old machine for like 20 sessions with the Clone and come out ahead every session. IMO the chances of that are close to 0. Have just 2 confirmed so far. By the way, there is no option to increase denomination. If I can’t make it in the steps from 5 nickels to 40 it won’t work. As Mr Sinatra used to say….. if I can make it there, I can make it anywhere……. ( as long as it is a vintage machine circa 1990 ).

At the blackjack tables, card counters seek to beat a house edge of about 0.5%. Typically they need good penetration and a bet spread of about 1 to 8.olds442jetaway wrote: ↑Sat Aug 13, 2022 4:53 pmIf I can’t make it in the steps from 5 nickels to 40 it won’t work.
Your game has no penetration and a 5.0% house edge. Your bet spread is 1 to 8. In a casino with unexplained forces. No one ever wins. Everyone's results are horrendous, but this is only mentioned incidentally and we don't attempt to understand why.
I'm cautiously optimistic.

Well I am here now and session 3 is a winner, even if I blow it later on something else. See the pic. I started with 20 in free play and a hundred of my own money. Taking a break now. Start over later and see what happens.

My phone died on session 4, but I caught 4 deuces again and cashed out about 160 bucks after starting with 100. No pic on this one.

It’s really late at Bizarro and after charging my phone and checking in, I started session 5 with 140 bucks and was very lucky on Bonus Deuces Wild to catch 5 Aces and cashed out. Pic attached. It may not work as well overall on Bonus due to the streaks snd the straight only paying 1 for 1. One more session before turning in. I am playing very fast as these old machines are very comfortable and easy on the eyes. I will take a pic. They put these in when the sky casino opened and had them in earth from the beginning when the old poker room was open. It’s now the Comix Club

Final session this trip. Session 6. Following the same rules on a 96 percent All Star 2 machine. Worked great. Pic attached. This session started with 20 free play and my own hundred. I still have no idea if I can make it to session 20 without a losing session, but so far, so good.

You played four ... "sessions" ??
I was told gamblers lose because they get greedy. They would be winners if they quit when ahead.
But when are you allowed to play again after "quitting"? I thought you had to go home. Apparently not.

The other sessions were carry overs from the last trip. I usually quit when ahead a hundred or 2 or run out of time. I tried one more this morning after a bit of sleep etc. caught the deuces again on dimes 96 percent spin game. Up 36 more bucks. That makes it session 7. Or worse case scenario. 2 trips instead of 7 sessions. Anyway I count when I stop play for awhile. One could also count trips instead. Either way, so far so good.

I notice many players are very active with the transactional aspect of play, i.e., deposits and withdrawals at a game. Sometimes they eject the ticket, then reinsert and continue play. Or they eject the ticket, then insert cash to continue. They may frequently visit a redemption kiosk to recycle their accumulated tickets back to cash.
It doesn't seem plausible to me, but imagine if you could jolt a gaming machine from cold to not-cold simply by cashing out and inserting a 20. That would eliminate the need for a 2-hour break. You could abort the old session and initiate a new one at will.
