Heeeeeee! Couldn’t help but chuckle at that one. If we can’t laugh at ourselves and each other, who else is there?
I just thought of an answer to a question I think OMT asked someone quite some time ago…. Why not just hold all of the cards in the above scenario?? Sometimes, the sensors are out of calibration. Many years ago, I was dealt quads in job. I held all of the cards on the glass. It unheld one of my quad cards and I was too fast hitting deal.

I have also made that same suggestion in these forums over the years. I have been told that if the hand cannot be improved - to hold all 5 cards. To each their own I guess.

Once burned, twice shy. Experience the best teacher. If you’ve been unheld on a machine, you usually know it ASAP. If I’m on one of those junkers and an unbeatable hand appears, I hope that I remember this advice.

it all back and busted by switching to dollars, The ugly is what happens when you try and make up some stock market losses with gambling. 😬. Once burned, but never learn!

Sorry to hear. Talk about game over. My trip was exclusively quarters. Akin to watching grass grow and paint dry simultaneously. A wash after $2K coin in.

At least watching paint dry is cheap.

Last night’s solo trip was negative, but I was determined not to go through another large bankroll. Dropped a total of 240 on 3 horrible cold machines in an hour or so and resisted temptation to hit the ATM. At least this morning I was able to turn my 15 bucks in free play into 30 and their 10 bucks in perk points bought me less than 2 gallons of gas. At 47 mpg though, it covered the ride home. There were several Bizarro events. Back to back dealt straight flushes on Deuces Wild, four consecutive straights on Deuces Wild, and 3 Wild Royals in ten hands all on the same game.

Sorry to hear. Relived my worst 2022 memory, at their sister casino Resorts! I was -$400 in just over an hour of JOB/BP on four machines. Still reaping mailers, and I've taken advantage of two free rooms. I don't know if I'll ever avenge my VP loss there.

Tempting fate. Just arrived at Bizarro World with the Mrs. for an overnight. Hope I don’t give back my minimal gains in the stock market today up here.
