i have been running manual sims on november 31st and masque 1/16/1994 masque video poker strategies by Lenny Frome.

a couple things i want to ask
1, if i convert all paying hands to the double up feature (3 times) is it then a 50/50 game? for example i play a 100 turns and i get suppose 3 or 4 full houses or suppose i play 100 and manage to get more winning hands then normal is it then a 50/50 play out?

2, applying betting system from best bet to martin gale or positive progression treating 1kcoin roll as a base bet has achieved far greater results than other table games, does it mean video poker (w/ or w/o double up is a superior game such as traditional table games such as craps/baccarat/blackjack and roulette? reason i ask this because have won over 17k units in short order and frequently with the double up feature, i dont ever recall winning that much in any other game in the casino.

Can anyone step
In and correct me? One book claims the odds sharpen each time you double up another claim on a forum some one said its a bet you can't lose its more of a hold, using masque shows wining 2k and upwards of 7k credit are on the table and I'm sure losing that amount is the same so is there anything we can benefit from double down?

Well, if you double up, you definitely can lose that bet. How anyone can say you can't lose is beyond me.

cant is incorrect choice of words, however it needs to lose the double down 3x in a row over a course of 800 turns, masque shows that difficult to process out a loss especially back to back

also someone posted on another forum about using a martin gale on a baccarat table is a poor choice, fight for 1 unit over sports betting where the pay out can be greater than 1 unit.

i also used betting system video poker with and w/o the double up feature and the results are more powerful than plain ol flat betting.

The double up feature does not change your expected return, but it greatly increases your variance and as a result, it increases your risk of busting out.

but what about a martingale in sports betting vs baccarat? or even video poker?

is martingaling a bad way to bet for non even chance games where the reward is not 1 unit when it is multiple units?

In my opinion, the Martingale is a bad way to bet period.

Totally agree! My understanding of the result of playing the martingale system is that there will be many small winning sessions, and the occasional massive loss. Flat betting is just fine with me.

I like Martingale if you have a point where you cut your losses and quit before bets get too high for the bankroll you have. Just like any betting method, if you don’t hit the premium hands, you are going to lose. I never double up
