In my opinion, the Martingale is a bad way to bet period.
It's no opinion. It's FACT.

You're better off playing at quarters or halves for most of session. Then bang out a few minutes of dollar play at the very end to satisfy the excitement quota.

I do plan on martingaling in ddb 9/6 I played 14k hands and won 600$, had I flat bet I think I'd be a net loser around the neighborhood of around 800ish dollars, mind you I like to think of it more of a spread than a double up way,1-3spread with a little luck helps. Besides it's all long dice roll piggy backing each session,
The 14k turns tried was on November 31st v5.1 shuffle 7x ea. Hand before deal.

I do plan to use this tactic at windcreek. They gave my wife 700dollar free play I hit the 4 ducks on .50 was a awesome trip strange thing Is she didn't gamble to get that freeplay but I'll take it

I know it's a losing game but couldn't resist the freeplay is over powering gonna my card next see what they give me now pandemic is almost over or close to it free play seems to be coming back, oh yea that double up all in 8 or 10x in a row seems to work best on 9 6 jacks but it cannot go on winning passed 50k credits might be something with the standard deviations, which doesn't really make sense cause roulette color can remain same beyond 20 spins. So why I didn't see 20x50k is weird also I'd never double up a royal that's not good either outcome

forgot to mention its 9/5 ddb not 9/6, also the double up can help but its more likely to hurt and get in the way, i played 1244 hands on aces and faces and won 155$ cash and strongest highest hand was full house, no way could i reach that amount winning w/o a 4oak but the story doesnt end there i lost my profit and then some after around 600 hands later with that double up feature, so it can go either way some hours will be helpful other hours will be hurtful after many tries its best bet to avoid double up and just move hi'er Denom altogether
