AP, your donation was much appreciated by the MS honchos. Points, meals, rooms on the arm. It's been a grand time (times 3!). Misery loves company. We came out on the short end most recently.

A pretty good trip. Quick chat with AP then back to work. No pics till I get this phone fixed the or get a new one. I pulled a nice dealt Wild Royal on quarter DDS at 100 for one tines 2 after doubling. I then settled in to a long grind on 9/6 JOB for at least another 3 hours. Did ok as some of the quads were at higher quarter bets. Finally got 3 hours sleep at 9 AM or so and pulled snall but nice 200 buck 5 of a kind on Joker Kings. 13 hour total marathon, but bet day up 600 bucks. Hope AP’s game finally turned around

In AC, you generally have to pick quarter or dollar machines. Three hours of JOB is incredibly boring, but if the machines were as fluid as yours I would be likelier to grind. The shifting dynamics a player creates make it a more interesting session. Bally's has the quarter/fifty/dollar setup. But I don't want to play there. After reading all the marathon reports here, I'm thinking of skipping lunch and long walks. Just play for five hours and see what happens. I'll definitely restore my Platinum status, which I like to have. The guy who hit a quarter progressive RF after 7 hours was back grinding the very next week. I guess he wants to give back 20% of it.

That’s ok as long as you don’t skip the other parts of the trip you enjoy especially with good weather hopefully around the corner. I still love a nice hot shower beating on me a half hour or so after these Marathons and a nice relaxing lunch I usually don’t bother posting about. 6 HBO channels in the room is nice too to catch a late night movie. I don’t get it at home. Mostly watch news or the history channel at home. I usually watch Jeopardy too though the categories sometimes are beyond Bizarro. I do enjoy knowing answers to questions though that the contestants miss. Especially if it is a final one. Categories like poetry, films, and actors I usually score a big fat zero. Most times I can smoke the contestants on science, history, and math. Whoops!! Back to VP I guess. PS…..I forget the exact wording , but recently they missed where the answer was the 1908 Model T. That was an easy one for me.

I actually could squeeze in the walk/lunch pre marathon! That's a more efficient way to structure my trip. I love your setup. I'd love a long shower or bath apres VP. No cable, so HBO or premium channel.

Good idea. If we can’t have enjoyment doing this VP madness, it really isn’t worth doing.

This is not a strategy, but a way to make JOB fun. It will only work if you have machines that allow up to bet 25 quarters and also the ability to change to halves and dollars. The idea is on long dud cycles which are very common to get your Full Houses and quads with larger bets in. Every time I lose 3 consecutive hands not counting pushes, I up my bet a quarter. I do not reduce my bets until I have a profit session or hit hands of 3 of a kind or more. I drop back a quarter on a 3 of a kind hit or straight, 2 quarters on a flush, 3 quarters on a full house, and 8 quarters on a quad. So far so good. Haven’t busted playing this way. Unfortunately, Webman has no plans to program the practice play on this site to what I need. I suspect not that many casinos offer this ability as described above like both Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods do. By the way, it is a good idea to have at least a 2,000 budget and at least 8-10 hours to play. I don’t always have either. Those are the sessions I lose on.

The Mrs and I are off for an overnight. Getting a bit of a late start as I had to have the oil company back to replace a defective damper on the new boiler. ( the damper was a cheap piece of Chinese junk. ). Luckily the boiler is made here. Second time in 2 weeks. Ugh!! My original boiler lasted 82 years. The new ones are projected to last just 10-15. Something is wrong here in this throw away society. I even still have one working Rotary phone in my house from the 1950s. I never heard of one of those break ever.
