Wish there was a way to get rid of duplicate posts.

I just have to get over the overly aggressive play. The hand pay actually hit when I was down a bunch still leaving me at -300. At one point after that, I was up 100 due to hitting 3 Wild Royals, but then everything fizzled and I tried to make it up with halves and dollars. I did limit my bet amounts, but playing between 5-10 bucks hand will put you negative fast even in a short cold cycle. Ended up down about 600. The only minor positive is I did make my what they call Personal achievement goal which they just jacked up from 34 to 51 status points. The only way I made it was it was triple points day today. So next time I come I will have $100 free play waiting for me plus whatever amount will be there for that day usually 20 bucks. I am going to cancel my room reservation for tomorrow as punishment both for myself and the casino for jacking up the status point number I need to hit in a gaming day to get 100 in free play. If they see you are hitting your goal 2 or 3 times they hack up the needed goal amount. To me that is flawed thinking because all it does is make me not even try for the goal. In other words my coin in for that trip might be 1/2 what it would be otherwise. We all know more coin in means more profit for the casino. Especially when you need to cycle through 500 bucks just to earn one status point. That translates to 17x 500 extra coin in just to get 100 in free play. 51-34=17. They also jacked up the Mrs points needed for a mere 25 in free play from 15-18. I know how she is when they do that. She will play a short time then go read or watch a movie. I don’t think the casino gets it though. I know this post is kind of wordy. I just want players who may not see through all of the tricks to have some extra information. We both will go on Wednesday if everything at home is OK and take it easy on that trip. Probably nice dinner, maybe catch a game or movie and keep the play to just a few hours.

I am sure in this politically correct world, they don’t allow these anymore, but they did when I was in school. I certainly deserve to wear the hat today. He he he he. For some fascinating history, read up on John Duns Scotus. He lived in the 1200s. Quite a brilliant person, but history was not kind to his thinking that conical hats could increase learning.

Nice overnight trip with the MRS. She did Ok hitting Aces 4 times on DDB x nickels. I did ok too making up for the first trip and this time quitting after I did that plus a hundred bucks. It was a marathon, but low key, not busy and relaxing. Food and drink were good too. I think there may be pics coming from the Mrs too. My phone is about shot.

It must have been a marathon for +$100 after $1,150 in premium hits. Your $4 goes a long way in DW. All I can get for four Aces in BP is $400.

That's nice for you. But, I can't for the life of me figure out how you determined that a thread created by another member to discuss their play at a particular casino was where you should post your results.
