5% theo loss at v. poker ??! something is wrong with that picture, f.pay pickem with accurate play, which is relatively e.z. to learn 99.9531%. That is 0ne twentieth of one percent. so for all intensive purposes, a break even game. The free play, mailers, achievment awards, mileage awards, free rooms free food , ect. are all profit in that good old long run ! ok ok I will also play job 99.9531. a half percent down. add ince social club/ some must hit slots and ultimate x multiplier leftovers and you have a nice social club/playground. assuming of coarse the RGN's are on the level!

Same opinion on that 5%. I see lots of bad players but I find it hard to believe.
Some time ago on an old thread someone mentioned 2%. Stuck in my head as a good estimate.
Casinos of course will not talk to this subject.
Any one out there with the inside story?

I didn't say the casinos are holding 5% at vp. I said they're rewarding vp at 5%.

If we apply the 30% formula, total comp rate would be 1.5% of coin-in. This 1.5% includes the casino's cost of providing free rooms and food, + your point value, + the prizes they give at their $50k drawing, + the cost of the George Foreman grills on gift day, etc.

This doesn't mean you'll get 1.5% specifically at pickem. The casino knows it's one of the best games in the country. And eventually they may target you for restrictions such as no mail or possibly even full backoff.

I don't believe casinos in the aggregrate hold (only) 2% on vp, if that's what you're saying. It has to be higher. Many casinos are around 2% on their best games. The games people actually play in volume are 9/5 DDB, 8/5 DDB, 9/5 TDB. And they make many mistakes because they're people.
