Straight Flush Bonanza

Went to the Tampa Hard Rock yesterday to tune up my strategy for our
upcoming Vegas trip. Picked up my new Elite players card and free
parking pass. To try something new I've changed to Bonus Poker. To add
excitement, I'm switching from quarter to dollar play at $40 and
playing back down to $20. On my first $20 I hit a straight flush for
$62.50. I switched to dollar play and was dealt another straight flush
for $250. I cashed out at $300 and put the ticket in my wallet. Two
hours later I hit another $62.50 straight flush. I decided to switch to
DDB this time and immediately hit 4 Kings for $250. This is the first
time I've ever hit three straight flushes in one day. Left up $300
which is a lot better than empty pockets.

Congratulations. One Straight Flush is my maximum. I cease all gambling. Too rare a hand. I want to savor my $62.50 success and enjoy beating the 9,100 to one odds. I thought that playing dollars throughout would be my JOB salvation strategy. It still took two hours to hit a quad in my afternoon session. I did recoup most of my morning losses, my real concern.

Quads do seem to be especially rare these days. I'm living on two pair to double my money.

A $75 quad was the minimum to exit with no more than a bruised ego. Fortunately, I rose to a whopping $3 bet at the time.
