What people (Steve e.g.) still don’t understand is winning the rare hand doesn’t determine your long term return. You can win royal on the good games but you can win it on the bad games too. Comparing winning the rare hands like royal flush or straight flush between good and bad games is completely braindeaded, coz they usually pay the same amount of credits and it happens in both good games or bad games. Whenever you hit it, the payout makes no differences.

But...you get much much much less on the frequent hands on bad games over long stretch of time than the good games. And this is the key to lose.

Does the 94% game pay you 10000 credits for royal or 5000 for quad deuces? No, they pay the same as the 99% game. However the frequent hands pay you 5% less.

how is that day dreaming? i can load up win poker 6 and it can easily achieve 10khands before busto
and boris deuces wild achieves 24k hands then busto

Anything could happen, why wouldn’t you just hold only deuces or royal cards and hope to hit more royal flushes or 4 deuces?

in a couple weeks will be heading back to my regular casino, all negative machines but you know what you dont beat the machine you beat the casino =)

as for the 99.17 old machine at resorts i do wonder about it i can always manage to enter the bonus rounds every trip (So far 4) and what i mean by that i can work a bankroll of a 100$ and work it to double or more but the home software video poker rarely rarely ever i see it go above 50$ unless i hit 4 aces.

what do you mean? it was auto play

yes anything can happen but just mad at the frequency of it happening its happening too much and its breaking some type of law of large numbers, i did hit 4 aces 5 times over on 1 old machine on 99.17 bp i got up and wife sat down and hit the 4 aces 10min after mine

either its all dice roll of cards or algorithm (aka the ghost in the machine)
and i do compare short term results with various other poker machines and each one has its own flavor

i came a long way realizing all 95-99.54% video poker games are worthless its the casino the house that offers mailers and cash backs that make that game "playable"

or just live in vegas and i hear on youtube vegas is more generous w/ the comps than atlantic city

You can’t make 95% playable even in Vegas if you want to make money.

You can’t make 95% playable even in Vegas if you want to make money.

shows what you know, i did exactly that in my near by casino, and im sure you can if you sign up for offers and mailers

i always play 88 or 95 poker machines and nothing you can do about it!

im done comparing video poker software, Boris video poker yields a str flush every 2k hands
november 31st doesn't get a str flush even after 9k hands
