The RNG in the casinos seem to be different than the RNG used on videopoker.com. I have played JOB 9/6 and have been over 100% return for the monthly contest without a royal. That does not happen for me in the casino. Again, that is for me. I seem to have bad luck.
this website does play somewhat up to par on what golden nugget website of atlantic city

but theres a huge difference between old machines and newer machines in brick and mortar casinos.

Well Steve it happened again Friday, 3 SFs in less then 30 mins on the same machine!

I included the phone time stamp not that anyone ever said I recycle photos, just wanted to show it for reference.

I don't know how you do it. The only sf I can get is if it is dealt to me.

Bill not sure myself, I do play a whole lot of hands a day. On Friday I played over 10,000 hands. Today about 5,000. I still believe that moving around to find a what I call paying machine, meaning the RNG is giving favorable starting hands is the key. They are hard to find and only see them once or twice a month.

Bill I also think there are many people that think they know the right holds and train on there PC but when they get to the casino there holds are shaky and miss good hits like SF.

Today was a odd day. I can't remember this happening to me on my first 100 bucks and first machine 5 mins in hit a 2 card hold royal. As they say that's poker. Some wonder do you ever lose, I say oh yes few weeks back lost 4k in 2 days promo runs. There are many ups and downs to this game. You got to be able to shrug off the loses and reload for the next promo. It takes time to get a thick skin to losing. Most will never get past that part of the game. The ones that do make money.

Congrats on the RF.

For me, SF and RFs are few and far between. Have been dealt a number of 4 to the sf and rf. Have gotten numerous flushes and straights but no SF/RF. Same with 3 to both where I have been following BD's chart so I am holding the right cards. I know the mantra, in the long run, however, that is not guaranteed, as I know all too well. Ironically, since resuming play when the casinos here have re-opened, I have been dealt 4 aces three times. One for three drawing the kicker. No rhyme or reason.

Congrats on that big win, i have been cataloging my results on 1 particular video poker app and it really does seem to be in line with the IGT very similar to your live play results
i will post results when i hit the royal, however i have played 31k+ hands no royal but 19 straight flushes, if i had played 30k hands on winpoker 6 or november 31st id doubt id see more than 2 straight flushes in the realm of 30k hands(win poker did produce 4 straight flushes which i thought was a lot for the software simulation) but still 4 from 19? too huge of a gap again something smells fishy

Wife and I went early today for some recreational play. Two more SF hits. To me there not that uncommon but to someone that don't play much they might feel SF and royals are very rare.

The program I wrote gives me perfect result which is in line with the theoretical return.

Straight flush happens every 9k hands, and that is what I get in casino too.

If you (Steve) are still day dreaming about hitting 20 SF per royal cycle or spending (wasting) time trying to figure out the pattern of RNG, then you’d better wake up from your daydream.

why dont you stay out of this Hop, you obviously have nothing to add to the table
and 2nd people actually have hit straight flushes 3+ times over in 1 short session
don't let the door hit you on the way out ok?
