 It is always wise to play the positive return paytable at "near perfect" play strategy. The person with the catch the RF mentality will play any paytable regardless. Casinos live and thrive on these recreational players. Playing correctly on positive return schedules is what I meant by protocol. Most houses have 9/5 paytables on $1 or lower denoms so I'm behind the 8 ball from the get go. Finding the 10/6 schedules are always nice. Ultimately, the house will always have the edge but it's refreshing to know that the player can control a percentage of their outcome.
