For comparison to VLT facility.

Only .68% difference in return to players. Be nice if could get VP only results instead of lumped in with slots/ETG's

No, I wasn't.
Just interesting I thought how close the returns are. Doesn't seem to be much advantage to class III over VLT.
I haven't done any test hands myself intentionally but so far I haven't noticed the games correct a poor hold nor do the games have bonus match cards etc. that I have seen.

Do you happen to know the average return from Eastern casino's?

Also, did you notice the major drop in Free play at Resorts back in October 2018? Almost 44% less for November 2018 from April 2018 while coin in was actually higher in Oct. and Nov. than April by more than $10 million.

A quick look at Jersey reports show casinos there are between 90 and 91.5%
So I guess pretty damn close.

resorts world are back up with mailers but they did cut the free play u get when playing v poker.if u have for example a full pay job class 3 it pays 99.5439 with accurate play. a vlt like at montacello will show 9 6 job on the pay table just like a class 3 but since its a vlt and not a true rng. it will only pay the same as all the other slots on its premises.usually around 90% or less !!!!

Yeah, I'm aware how VLT's work and that class 3 vp should be better due to true pay schedules. Results are completely random though and despite the math telling us we "should" see a certain outcome over the long term each hand starts out with the same odds of getting any given hand. The draw is where we have the advantage but again each draw has the same odds as the last time we were dealt an identical hand. This means the whole RNG thing could very well spit out complete duds every hand we ever play if we were so unfortunate. Not likely, but possible, no?
Now think about this though, I'm gonna get slammed for this one. VLT's are a predetermined outcome. They have a definite amount of winning and losing hands/spins. Have you ever been playing a terrible session of vp and said to yourself, "Come on, there's gotta be a good one in here somewhere." Well, in VLT machines there are good ones for sure. There has to be. If only we could know the amount of "tickets in the roll" there were. The Lottery posts odds for each prize for each scratch off game they have. They also post how many top prizes are left to be won in each run of a game and how many have been won. They stop selling game tickets when there are no longer any top prizes left to be won. I would imagine VLT's are treated the same since they are essentially electronic scratch offs. The games must be reset with a fresh amount of "tickets".
They do not give us this information though. Bummer. There of course is still randomness in picking the tickets out of the hat though. Now if a Vlt pays back 91% it is predetermined where as a class III game may have the probable outcome of returning 98+% but it is not guaranteed. It just needs to average a return % within gaming authority regulations for slots. Sometimes less than 90% I believe.
I personally definitely prefer to play true class III machines myself for the obvious reasons. But for the longest time we didn't have them here close by and VLT's were it without taking a long trip. My results often times were better or close to the same playing the VLT's than class III.
One more thing is VLT's earn the same comps/points no matter what you play and you can use free play on anything.
I also figured since many have said they dabble in the slots this might be interesting info for them when I started the post.

My apologies in advance if I did not articulate my thoughts very well.

Oh, Meant to ask you Advantage player. You had mentioned in the past I believe that you play at the bar in Resorts World. Are the drinks (alcohol) free while you are playing at the bar? If I ever take them up on a free room offer I might decide to indulge a little.

the rooms are fantastic ! I usually don't play at the bar because the seats r not comfortable for long sits; I play sometimes for a very long time at a given machine and there seats at the machines r very comfortable. As far as alchol drinks they r free at machines while playing but straight up drinks seem very diluted.i would just go to the d top bar and order a double grey goose and chaser and bring it to my machine and pay for the great drink !!
