I'm all in favor of a casino going smoke free but how would they handle table games? Either a player loses his spot in the game everytime he wants a smoke or the casino lets him hold his place and now is making less per hour per table. I don't think the casino wants to be losing money.
Wouldn't the casino be able to up minimum bets on table games to offset any loss they may incur as a result of place holding?
I don't know how they work it in Illinois as I am a life long non-smoker and I rarely play table games.
All Casinos should be smoke-free. Designated smoking areas should be outdoors only. Sorry smokers, but your habit is seriously disgusting and you all smell horrible.

Most casinos have a game plan that works. Tables stakes are based on years of experience into what their clients will support, or at least that's what they like to say. The majority of their clients are okay with things the way they are now, so I don't see them making major changes without outside influence.
Supposedly, the Park MGM has been hurting since the changeover from Monte Carlo so MGM is taking a shot at bringing in a new crowd. I'd like to see all casinos go smoke free, but I think it will take the law to do it, not the casino owners.

After this, you've got me wondering just what the purpose was with your two posts?
