Trump lost because good people in five different states realized they had made a mistake voting for him four years ago. I remember his somewhat bizarre claim four years ago that he won the popular vote if you didn't count California. Now he and his supporters are saying he won, if you throw out all the minority votes. Rather than accept reality, he and his supporters choose to believe a vast conspiracy involving dead dictators, George Soros, China, illegals, and Martians sneaking in at night to throw pixie dust over the uncounted ballots perverted the election process. That's the problem with falling for a dogma. True believers" know" they are right and simply don't understand how the rest of us don't get it.

I find it odd that many Trump supporters are so surprised that he lost. They use evidence of the "huge" rallies and lots of yard signs. But, he didn't win the popular vote in 2016, all the polls showed him losing and in addition we have almost a quarter of a million people dead from a virus that he continues to downplay. Those people all had families who probably didn't feel warm and fuzzy toward a man who showed no empathy or concern for their loss, wasn't concerned about spreading the virus at rallies and continued to make fun of those who wore masks.

Dumb DEMS stole the Presidency but forgot to steal the Senate. Luckily, they have the mechanism in place to do so in Georgia. Why should any Republican bother voting that day when their fearless leader tells them the election is rigged. In fact, why would any republican ever bother voting when Hugo Chavez will cause their vote to be changed. Why participate in a rigged election? There are some pretty sharp analysis available that indicate Trump shot himself in the foot by scaring his supporters away from mail balloting. In several of the states where the final tally was close, would additional Trump voters via mail ballots have made a difference? Regardless of that, not expanding his base from 2016 was probably his single biggest political error. I have read that repeatedly, that it was his chief political mistake during his presidency.

Hopefully his rhetoric about elections being fixed convinces enough of his supporters not to bother voting anymore. Why bother wasting time voting when Hugo Chavez and George Soros will just wave their magic chinise communists made wands and change them.

In all seriousness, the US needs to come up with a way so that a voter, and only that voter, can check and see how their vote was recorded. Of course, even that evidence won't be enough to convince some of the maga crowd.
I was listening to an interview with a congressman from Pennsylvania who filed suit to throw out all mail ballots based on the law that allowed them was defective. When asked why he was suing now instead of last year he said he wouldn't have needed to if the election went the right way.
