Tampa Hardrock and Covid

Post by rayj »

So against my better judgment me and the wife visited the Tampa Hard Rock Casino.

They check your temperature on entry. I also seen the attendant with a hand counter...probably keeping track of incoming to fulfill the 50% capacity mandate. Masks required at all times, unless eating or drinking. There are employees walking the floor to make sure everyone is complying.

Every other slot machine was shut off. Table games have plexi-glass separators between all player seats.
Plenty of hand sanitizers all over the place. One poker machine was open at a bar and had a sign on it that said "This machine has been sanitized". It was vacant because it was mult-hand. I generally don't play mult-hand but $40 bucks got me squat so I left.

The wife was playing a TDBP .25 at another bar. It was the only machine open. She hit deuces with kicker for $500. She moved to the floor to play and I took over. Switched between .25 and.50 TDBP. Lost $500. Son-of-a.....

Anyway, wife walked out $130 ahead. Me...-$500. :(

Not we wait until Oct or Nov for Vegas trip.

TDBP has huge swings. At least your wife got some revenge on the machine. Treat it as a day out and a warm up to Vegas.

Please cut your player cards ASAP. This can't end well.

I always ask cleaning person on floor to clean my machine and chair and give them a small tip. They then pay attention to you and will clean anywhere you go. They've done a great job as far as I see in Tampa.
