sharing player club cards

Post by mschaching »

A friend told me that a her and a friend "share" a players club card so they can increase their comps. She said she does this at Wynn and MGM properties, both palying different machines at the same time. This would really help accumulate points IF you can do it. I never thought of doing this and have a few questions:
Can 2 people share 1 players card?
Can you play simultaneously?
What happens if you get a hand pay and its not your card?
Don't they ask for ID?
Does this break any players club rules?
My husband plays table games. Will they accept my card?
Has anyone done this at Boyd properties?

Some player's clubs allow card sharing, while others are dead against it. You have to ask them.

At Seneca Niagara, we were told that up to eight players on one card is OK. That's probably the extreme.

We didn't ask but my husband and I use one player's card at a Boyd property to get to Emerald level. We both use that card to keep the level up and then concentrate and using the other card for added comps. I have hit a jackpot while using his card and they did not comment on it. So far, so good!

No problem with husbsnd and wife sharing at Mohegan Sun. As to hand pays, whoever hit the deal or draw button gets the hand pay. It doesn’t matter who’s card was in the machine. Id and ss# required of course. Wife and I have done this many times. Never a problem.
