Re: Cross Country Casino Trip
Wildman in Michigan we visited your casino Soaring Eagle and outside of Vegas is probably my favorite. From there we stopped at Gun Lake for a short visit on our way to Blue Chip. While at Blue Chip we went a few miles up the road to Four Winds and of course on the way home Firekeepers. We had not been in Firekeepers in awhile but it seemed larger than I remembered. They have a real nice video poker room in a room of its own off the main casino

Olds Mohegan has been on my to do list for a long time. We don't usually travel east because there are so many cities and I hear traffic is a nightmare in some areas. The older I get the more I hate driving in unfamiliar cities. I really don't know how we made it without GPS years ago but now I rely on it so much.
Otabill I meant to mention we did drive through the edge of Phoenix and spent the night at AK-Chin on our way to El Paso. The casino was busy as it was New Years day. Seemed like a nice place but we left early the next morning.

Case, you passed within a few miles and maybe 15 minutes from my house. I haven't been to Ak Chin for many years, since before their big renovation. Several Casinos in metro Phoenix have been upgraded in recent years and one new one built in the West Valley. A new casino complex is being built literally five minutes from my house. Hopefully, you and your wife will be healthy and able to do another cross-continent trip in the future and revisit AK-Chin and see some others. Unfortunately, VP pay tables have been degraded since the beginning of the pandemic. It would be nice to meet up if you get this way.case wrote: ↑Sun Jan 23, 2022 7:31 pmOlds Mohegan has been on my to do list for a long time.
