Another new casino being built in Metro Phoenix.

With Gila River's San Tan Mountain casino scheduled to open in the next few months in the East Valley, the Tohono O’odham Nation, is beginning construction on a new casino in the “far West Valley.” The tribe opened their first West Valley Casino in February 2020. Three new casinos in the Valley in five years (assuming the newly announced one opens within two years). https://www.abc15.com/news/business/con ... ley-casino

Phoenix area is starting to be a hotbed for casinos. Lots of snowbirds in the winter help to fund these casinos I guess. I have been in Gila River Vee Quiva or maybe it was Wild Horse Pass (can't remember) and of course Harrah's.

You doing any gambling now OtaBill?

Rarely these days Case. Thus far, in 2023, only once. And that was because I had time to kill between events and had to drive by Casino Arizona. Decided to see what changes had been made since the last time I was there in 2020. Played their new progressive bank for a short time. A blah session. :)

I will visit the new Gila River San Tan Mountain casino when it opens to check it out. close to where I live. Doubt I will go very often. Too many other things to do. Different when my wife was alive.

So far, all AZ casinos are Native American. Sixteen tribes are authorized operate one or more casinos in Arizona. Makes for healthy competition. https://www.500nations.com/Arizona_Casinos_Tribes.asp
