Tug wasn't from me. BTW, my late wife and I only cruised on Princess. I posted this before, one late night we went to the casino to decompress. The staff left at midnight. We were told we could stay and play. Fooling around, we hit a progressive RF. Had to wait until the next morning to get paid. The irony is, we rarely visited the casino during cruises, and only for very short sessions. Overall, we came out ahead even though the paytables were terrible. That's because of the rf, and a couple of AWAKs on other cruises.tech58 wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 10:11 amPrincess. My voucher from Casino can be used also on Carnival or Holland America.OTABILL wrote: ↑Wed May 15, 2024 11:50 pmOut of curiosity, which cruise line?tech58 wrote: ↑Wed May 15, 2024 4:34 pmNice Air Fryer which we use a lot. Identical backup in basement.
This is probably stretching the tone of this thread but just got back from "free" 10-day cruise.
Slight correction to the "free" would be $248 in ports and fees. For a Balcony We will take it anytime.
Two problems. The VP was worse than I have ever seen, even for Cruise Ship, 6-5 JOB, never played a tug.
Problem #2,Daughter and Son-in Law came along on their own, they had the drink packages so I was
Over-Served for 10-days, still tapering off.
BTW I admit to borrowing the descriptive word "tug" from either you or dinghy, I think. I love it

Think I posted the answer, and the following story) at one point. No problem doing so again. Two pertinent things. One, one of us had our cruise (player) card in the machine which locked up. I thought I would have to stay in the casino overnight. While my wife waited, I found the cruise ship's night manager. Who assured me, there would be no problem as the machine was locked up, and the cruise card would prove it would prove it was us. Spent a restless night and went back at 9:00 am and got paid. Since the progressive was just over $1200, got a W2-G even though we were in international waters on a non-US flag vehicle. One final note, when we got to the casino that morning, a gentleman seated at the neighboring machine told us he tried to play "our" machine (still playing the music) but it was broken! Olds, another Bizzaro-type casino episode.

Heeeeee. Yep. I think the casinos are more superstitious than us players.
