Hello all you fellow VP.com members. I am looking forward to a four night trip coming up the end of October and am wondering what offers if any you might be receiving.
I have been going to Vegas since 2001 and used to go 4 - 5 times a year and was at home at places like the Frontier and the El Cortez. Used to get offers all of the time from those places and miss seeing Jackie at the Cortez. As times have changed, Jackie is gone and the Frontier imploded well over a decade ago I have gone from casino to casino in hopes of finding a place that could be my home base.
The Silverton was pretty good to me on the VP and I got a few royal flushes over the years. They seemed pretty good about sending free room offers but with their hotel closed that isn't the case right now. I do still have $60 in free play and $25 in food coming to me when I head out in October. The only other offer I have is two free nights and $75 in play from the Treasure Island. I will be taking them up on that offer and probably pay for two nights at the Four Queens as they don't charge resort fees which make their rooms generally the cheapest in town.
Would be happy to hear about any offers you have received or if you have a "home base" in Vegas. What casino is it and what makes it that one place for you to travel to visit after visit.
Anyone getting offers for Vegas?

I have a local address, so my offers are structured differently but I would think the most obvious Silverton replacement is South Point. Visitor mail offers are not reliable, but SP has a good reputation for comping rooms and food based on play. Good slot club point value and abundant full-pay VP. Gaming promos vary from month to month -- sometimes good, sometimes nothing. I crossed Silverton off my list when they adjusted their VP to require $4 play per point.
If you go downtown, Four Queens is a good-value home base, but you could also consider seeding a backup. Give one solid day of action at some place that doesn't have recent history on you. Could be the D, or one of the Boyds. Maybe even El Cortez.
I don't know anything about Treasure Island. Vpfree2 indicates a very poor VP inventory. Some of the Strip properties have replaced much of their VP with slots.

As an MGM Gold member I get offers all the time. Latest one is four nights comp, $150 F&B, $100 Freeplay. That’s for any Vegas MGM Property except Signature..
In November 2022 we went to the Bellagio for a week for less than $300. Gold member have Resort Fees wiped off. That’s a big savings right there.
Note: I’m Gold because of MGM’s reciprocal agreement with Royal Caribbean loyalty club. Before 2021 Royal Caribbean’s Diamond plus (my level), matched to their Platinum level. But I guess too many were qualifying, so they changed the match level to Gold - but they added waived Resort Fees. That was a big plus.
