Re: never win at vp why??
Personally, I don’t look into the math or pay tables unless they’re really bad, but the thing to keep in mind is that most hands in VP are losing hands.
You can play perfectly with no mistakes and still lose. The house usually wins in the long run - it is still gambling after all.
That being said, there are ups and downs. I hit a couple of jackpots back in March, but overall I’m down for the year.
I lost $500 the other night chasing a $1000 jackpot on a .25 machine single line. I got a couple hours of play out of it though. Had I lost that much on a higher denomination my play time would have been over very quickly had my luck been the same.
In any case, I do wish you and everyone here the best of luck. I find VP to be entertaining and exciting, don’t let a few bad sessions ruin your love of the game.

A -$500 on 2 hours of quarter play is horrible. It’s almost impossible on JOB or BP. I can’t really process that unacceptable outcome on any single line game.

I hit a couple of quads but all the big hands were 1 card away it seems.
It was 8/5 triple double. I knew what I was getting into. I usually have better luck than that though.

True, I found 9/6 double double there but it was at $5 denom.(Hard Rock Bristol) Harrah’s Cherokee their 25 and 50 cent double double were 7/5. Their $1 and $2 triple double was 9/5. I don’t know if this is normal because I’ve never been to Vegas.

99.2% games produce plenty of losing sessions themselves. I cannot fathom enduring 96%.

I mean it depends on what kind of fun you want. 25 cent triple double has that roller coaster for a small bet, although 8/5 TDB is Las Vegas Airport quality. Actually I think I saw 9/5 TDB at the airport once so it is below airport quality.
