My wife and I were in Vegas using the American Casino Guide and went to Jerry's Nugget. Used $10 freeplay and $10 match play coupons.
As new members, if you earn 1,000 points you get $100 freeplay. VP is $2 per point so that is a 5% return playing through $2,000.
Also earning 50, 100, 250, 500 points along the way we got $25 comps, t-shirt and $40 dining reward each.
I played JOB 9/5 for dimes at a console machine. I didn't get a RF or SF. They also had 9/6 job at coin drop uprights with CRT screens for quarters. We both came out ahead without counting the Comps or dining reward which we used. I also got a post card for 2 weeks of $10 freeplay and $5 comps which were not used because we don't live in Vegas.
They also had VP games for penny, 2 cents, and 3 cent denominations including the gimmick games. We will go back there again next time in Vegas.

Thanks for the report W4RF. I have heard about Jerry's Nugget over the years but have never been there myself. Also heard the low cost coffee shop is decent with good prime rib. Is the area around the casino safe or is it best to visit during the dayime?
That 100 dollar free play sounds good and very playable. I will be stopping in Vegas late April but probably won't make the trip this time to JN but might make future plans.

The prime rib and salmon meals were very good at the coffee shop. I would skip the grilled chicken breasts. I think the casino area is safe. We left there just after midnight. We also ate lunch there two other days. You can park close to the front door. I think security was outside by the door. You could see them from where we parked.

I also got another mailer for $10 free play each week in March into April for $50 total. This may be useful information for locals.

Don't bother with this place. It has been cited by the Health Dept. multiple times this past year for a multi-generational roach and rodent infestation. Let that phrase sink in visually.
It's in North Las Vegas (yuck) but there is a lot of roaming security, inside and also in the parking lot. It is just a few short blocks to the Homeless Courtyard, so perhaps that's the reason for the plentiful security. Too bad security can't control the rats. They go where they feel like it.

I also took advantage of the $100 free play offer for a new card sign up. Have eaten a couple of times at the coffee shop and it’s always been good. The pasties are awesome. Area is very Sketchy. The three times I’ve been there was to use coupons and free play offers, hard to pass up with some great pay tables. 9/7/5 DB.. Due to it being sketchy I’ve out of there before noon.

Good to know that the players club is so valuable there! While what people say is true, and that the area is nothing short of sketchy--it is noteworthy that Jerry's Nugget has one of the only consistent $5 live craps tables left in Vegas. That is why I have been there before--because I love to degen out on some dice.
Don't expect anything short of what a property in North Vegas surrounded by homeless people and pawn shops is likely to deliver. But for the frugal gambler looking for some awesome table and machine minimums--Jerry's Nugget has it in spades!

Roaches, rats and homeless note well: Lady Luck cares not about your lack of effect. 9/6 job and 9/5 at dimes is best to see.
And HTB that Ellis Island doesn't have $5 available for its bathtub table...
