Way better than starting out $900 behind. A lot of play left but could be the start of a good trip. Good luck...onemoretry wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 9:24 am
At Seneca, we played a little bit of triple line $1 deuces wild, and "we" came out $900 ahead.

After three days of play here in Nevada, we"re still in the black.
Wednesday, we played a little bit of100 play 1c video poker at Harrahs Las Vegas. I lost $400, despite hitting a $40 royal, and two or three sets of deuces. My wife, who also had a $40 royal, lost just $100.
Thursday, we travelled to the Tropicana in Laughlin, where we'll be staying until Monday. We played some single line $! super aces (her), deuces wild (me), and 8/5 bonus poker (both of us), and 5 line 50c 8/5 bonus poker (me). Only one of us could eventually get on the multi line machines we prefer, as there are only two of them, and one was occupied. Overall, I as down $200 at the $1 games, and up $450 on the multilines. My wife broke even on the $1 games.
After a break for dinner, we went back at it, this time both of us mostly on 5 line 50c bonus poker, after a little bit of single line $1 play. She finished this session up $400, while I managed a $2500 win, thanks to a "surprise royal". I use the "surprise" term because it came on a draw to a lonely queen of diamonds. Overall, after yesterday's play, she was ahead by $1500 for the trip, while I was $1800 up.
Today was a more or less "come back to earth" one for her, as she was down $1400 on the 5 line 50c bonus poker. I did manage a tiny $20 profit on my approximately $26,000 of play.
If my math is right, she's still up for the trip ($100), while I'm ahead $1820.

Good work so far, congrats to the both of you. Nail another royal surprise or two before you exit for colder weather.

I never like playing Fridays. It's not a convenient day to make an evening trip, and I always get killed. Wife met with real strife. Amazing that you broke even on all that damn coin in. You were definitely living it up.

Playing again, 5 line 50c bonus poker, it was a satisfactory Saturday. Not so much for my wife (-$600), but I managed a $1350 win, thanks to an extraordinary number of quad aces. I don't know the exact number, but it was probably at least a dozen. I was dealt the four aces once, and another time got them on a five card redraw.
I don't recall ever having three consecutive winning sessions on this game before. Tomorrow, I'll go for four.

In addition to hitting them several times when dealt either two or three of them, I was dealt all four aces once, and another time got them on a five card redraw.
Because of the multiline aspect, this game can be somewhat volatile. I don't recall ever having three consecutive winning sessions on it before. Tomorrow, I'll go for four.
