Got my first ever "auto-hold" jackpot.

Did you hit any jackpots? Did you get a great comp? We all want to know!

If I had to play that game, I would activate 47 hands only. That way you dodge the taxi. And probably a wild royal pays the same as the straight flush.
Many years ago I was playing 50 line 5c JOB at Harrahs Laughlin, and the person beside me was doing exactly that - playing only 47 0f the 50 hands. He seemed to be quite pleasant, so, finally my curiosity got the better of me, and I asked him why he was doing that. His reasoning, of course, was just what is described above. When I indicated my belief that a winning, even if one just under $1200 needed to be reported to the IRS at tax time, he looked at me like I was kinda crazy.

You were the kid in school who reminded the teacher when she forgot to assign homework.

In hindsight I probably should've done that, but I never thought I'd be dealt that hand after the 50 AWAKs.

No harm done. We all would have reported the $1175 anyway.

Does anyone know, where on the 1040 do I report the value of my free bungee cord?

It’s a line item on the schedule for Tag sale income and expenses. Schedule T-1 line 27! And don’t forget Sch Bar-1 for the retail value of the free drinks too. 😂…….Congrats again Azure!! You must have brought me luck. After reading your post, I just got an Autohold Royal late Thursday Eve!
