I win at the casinos vp but very seldom on here
I do fairly well when I play at various casinos but I've been playing on here for years the same games I play at the casinos and very seldom win on here

The standards are higher here. Even though you have roughly a one in three chance of leaving the casino a winner (depending on a number of factors, including your choices), there you often have to beat only one machine. Here you mostly have to beat thousands of players. It happens. Hang in there.

So you win at real games winning real money but are upset because you don't win fake money here. Would you like the situation to be reversed?

Hi, I agree it IS easier to win in Vegas. For example, I'm playing the monthly contest, and I have now played 800 hands of Two Pair Joker and I have yet to draw a four of a kind, with or without the joker. That seems a near impossibility. It's an 80 point win. In this game, this is a must win in order to have any chance for success. There are occasions when I feel the software here is at fault. In a legitimate Casino, of course, we can jump around to another machine, as mentioned above. Still, I also believe these games are not checked sufficiently for accuracy, or something else is amiss. We recently moved to Michigan from Las Vegas after four years there. I've visited a few Casinos around here, and it's Nevada for me, hands down. Just thought I'd comment a bit. Thanks.

I agree with Aceheigh. I have WON the monthly contest, last year. I've been in the Top 100 also. I have complained to videopoker.com, privately, about other games, and I got results! And I thanked them for that! Other times, no. It is not difficult to identify tendencies, such as software problems, and bring it to the attention of them. If you play enough! I'm not complaining about winning. I've won!

In all tests to date, we have found our hand frequencies to be in line with expectations. In a Joker game... this does seem very unlikely (next to impossible) if making correct holds. I played some just now and got a few 4k's very quickly and I know nothing of the strategy. Since the game seems to be performing fine here (and there is no difference for different users) I would need to see a video to verify. We don't keep a record of wins that small.Aceheigh wrote: ↑Wed Feb 06, 2019 4:04 pmHi, I agree it IS easier to win in Vegas. If you'd like us to investigate, please take a video of your next 100 hand session (cell phone video is fine) and send to forum@videopoker.com so we can determine if the game appears to have an issue or if there is some other factor that would explain this result. If there is a problem, we will of course look into it further.

I can assure you, no changes to the RNG have ever been made based on someone's complaint. It is not player specific, and the selection process of choosing random cards from a deck is much simpler than many people imagine. Results vary widely, and that should be expected. The fact that you "got results" sometimes by complaining and "other times not" is once again simply due to random circumstance.I'marenogirl wrote: ↑Thu Feb 07, 2019 3:40 amI agree with Aceheigh. But congrats on your great win! Winning the Monthly Contest is one of the bigger accomplishments on this site I would say.
