Atlantis Paradise Island
CET has offered me a free three night stay at The Beach. Has anyone vacationed here? The Gold member $99 rate is okay too.

I've been there many times for blackjack tournaments and to play the blackjack tables while on vacation. I dont know anything about the VP situation there. Maybe someone else knows.
The Beach Tower is their lowest level of accommodation, farthest from the casino and is basic accommodation at best.
Your "free" nights at the Beach Tower will not cover the resort fee and taxes which will run you about $50 USD per night. Food is also expensive there unless you restrict yourself to the Starbucks and the pizza place at the marina. Use of the water park will be covered by the resort fee, If you have kids or if you like that sort of thing yourself.
Even without the taxes and fees being covered, this is still a decent deal. I hope you enjoy yourself.

I think the taxes are included but you pay the resort fee. Check the details on the web page. If you only have 2 in your room it isn't too bad. Add extra people, now you are paying $$ per extra person plus a tax for them too. You can call the toll free number to get the cost details. Food is expensive unless you eat a burger and fries for lunch at the park. If you have 4 people, get a whole pizza for dinner. All food has an 18% gratuity and 12% tax added automatically, even at the water park counter sevice you pay gratuity. You can book back to back stays which my wife and I did in January. for 8 nights. They included the casino experience pass last year but not anymore. That included the shallow water dolphin experience (~$130 each). We were diamond and stayed in the royal towers and got $100 freeplay each. Our weather was great, upper 70s and sunny everyday. They have a free slot tournament Monday-Sunday. Everyone wins $10 freeplay. If the airfare works for you, plan your stay so you can play Sunday and then the next tournament on Monday. Top prize is $100. VP at the quarter level wasn't great but do your scouting before playing. The casino is empty in the morning. Quarters is their lowest denomination. My wife and I both came out ahead. If you are a new member there, you can also earn freeplay (we were not). Drinks in the casino are free so tip the waitresses. They show 2 - 3 free movies each night in their theater which we took advantage of since it was dark around 5pm in January. It was a great winter vacation.

FAA - Stick where you are - AC. I've been to Atlantis 41 times and its a beautiful place with lots to do EXCEPT VP. Hardly any machines at all. They are all slots. If VP is the main reason to go, don't. But if you like good food, beautiful beaches, marine habitats, junkanoo, good music, relaxation and celebrity watching, then by all means go.

Thanks all. I definitely wouldn't earn any TCs if I went. May be worth the expenses to have the experience.

Taxes were definitely not covered for my most recent offers.Waiting4RF wrote: ↑Fri Mar 08, 2019 6:50 pmI think the taxes are included but you pay the resort fee. Check the details on the web page.

Interesting. They go out of their way to explicitly state as much.

Nice place to visit, but as mentioned VP is bad.
