Vegas End of Month

Heading to Vegas end of July - my choices for hotel; Luxor / NYNY / Harrahs / Planet Hollywood. (really any mgm or caesars properties but I've narrowed it down) also Considering downtown since the VP there was the best last year. Any thoughts / suggestions?

Luxor is my favorite but it was brutal last year.
