This merger may require Caesars to sell multiple properties in Indiana. No decision has been made what properties this may include but Horseshoe Hammond has not been ruled out. With Chicago getting a casino and another casino being placed in the south suburbs of Chicago, I wouldn't rule out Horseshoe Hammond being sold.

A CET Seven Stars guy waiting for the shuttle at Harrah's complained yesterday that its new route adding Tropicana lengthened the shuttle wait by fifteen minutes. Deal breaker! I wound up waiting about 45 minutes. It's a slow go. Three guys who arrived before me finally threw in the towel for ACJ. I will give future shuttles five minutes before jitney jaunt. What's two bucks in a city that vacuums bankrolls?

This could be one way casinos survive the coming winter, massive unilateral mergers. Competition and antitrust be darned, this is survival at stake....I could easily see Mgm , Caesars and maybe one other huge too big to fail operator emerging in April 2021 with nearly all remaining operating casino locations (many will disappear or merge into other properties).

It's a mixed bag for consumers. We ultimately vote with our feet.
