Triple Status Points Mohegan Sun

Post by olds442jetaway »

Tomorrow and Monday. Our weather is iffy, but if I go, running about 6,000 through a 99.54 JOB machine in about 5 hours of play should give me on my card 100 bucks in free play. That gives me an EV roughly of 1.01.
Just thought I would mention it in case someone decides to go.

excuse me, olds, but do you have a number for how much coin in it takes to make a VP status point at mohegan sun? from what i saw today, i'm thinking it takes about $500. i was going to send a DM but couldn't figure out how to do that. if you have an exact number or a different number, i'd be interested. they had a status point multiplier promo going today. (status point mayhem)
cheers,
drew

I just happened to see your post today. I think 500 is about right for momentum dollars and roughly the same for tier or status points. The only way I could approximate it which I did was to play a game and to make it easy bet just a buck at a time checking every ten bucks or so to see if one’s point total changes. I came up with 480-500. On certain days that can be less and it is almost definitely less the higher you go in the type of player’s card you have.

Most of the full pay machines do not award any momentum dollars, but they do yield approximately 1 status point per $500 coin in. I have been concentrating more of my play on full pay VP and am wondering if not earning momentum dollars will result in all of my comps / room offers disappearing since I’d be earning $0 momentum dollars per gaming day.
