Today, we received a much welcomed notice from Caesars Rewards advising that our tier status has been extended yet another year, to Jan.31, 2023.
Also, our reward credits were extended to Jan.31,2022. This is less significant, though, as we have been able to keep our reward credits current through the periodic use of a Caesars Rewards Visa card.
Caesars Rewards Tier Status Extension.

Interesting news OMT, I wonder how widespread this will reach.

Well, it hasn't trickled down to the low rollers. All I got today was a promotion to join "Dining Rewards" where they dispense RCs for every dollar spent eating out locally. You must link a credit card when signing up, of course. These thieves are starving for profits.

Our home property is Harrahs Laughlin. My suspicion, however, is that the extension is not related to where our home property is, but that Caesars Rewards is actually acknowledging the difficulty we, as Canadians, face in maintaining our tier status due to the ongoing restrictions on cross border travel.

I am surprised they would extend for an additional year. Hopefully for you, by the time your card status runs out they will get their act together and quit nickel and diming all of us. I have noticed a steady movement towards cost savings and away from cardholder benefits ever since their merger with El Dorado. Our free play is roughly two thirds what it was pre merger. Additionally they have started inserting multiple days between the free play so we can no longer do a one or two day trip and double dip on the free play.onemoretry wrote: ↑Fri Jul 02, 2021 6:01 amOur home property is Harrahs Laughlin. They have also cheapened dining benefits. At our home property, only two of the four restaurants are open even though the demand is there to fill all four. And we are getting roughly half as many food comps as we used to. They have closed our players lounge and eliminated premium beverages on the floor. My wife likes a nice glass of chardonnay or cabernet while playing. This has been replaced with a smaller portion of chablis out of a box or a red wine that tastes like motor oil. I could go on but loyal players are not happy. Many have left but have been replaced by a marketing approach where they bus people in. Something they never did in the past.
The bean counters for the new company have been out in full force to cheapen the overall experience that we were accustomed to in the past. I suspect it is the same way at all the CET properties. And I notice we no longer get surveys to fill out after our stays. That tells me they know what is going on and choose to bury their head in the sand. Not a good strategy for long term success. We are in the process of starting to look elsewhere.

I've noticed that when I get mailers for "gifts" you have to earn a certain number of tier credits in order to receive the "gift." Horseshoe Hammond, for example, sent me a mailer for a $50.00 Visa Vanilla card but I had to earn 10 tier credits to get it. Harrah's Joliet is following the same course. Um, no.

Ted,what is your theoretical loss to earn 10 tier credits ? if u have near break even games the cost is theoretically minimal . I say theo. you may lose alot more than the theo.or even win, but I think u r aware of that. The foundation under Las vegas is pure mathematics ! as u know.
