All - When I go out to the Vegas area, I enjoy going to the Stations properties the best. But staying there is a nightmare. Do you all have a favorite local casino for VP?

Thanks.

stations cut their player's club points earn rate in half for VP, and their buffets aren't coming back for a long while, if ever. breaks my heart, but not much of a reason to play there anymore.

GVR has a few quick quads machines, but aside from that I'd rather play VP at south point.

I was in Sunset Station Casino in Henderson this summer. Newer keno machines had replaced many of the older ones. The payouts were less. Five out of five went from 810 credits to 750. Eight out of eight went from paying 10,000 credits to 8,000. I’m not playing in Sunset anymore, which was my favorite casino in the Vegas area. Arizona Charlie’s has lowered their payments with newer machines also. This must be the new trend.

Sounds like they went to 88% pays instead of 92%. Sometimes you can get better pays at a higher denom. Unlike video poker, keno doesn't usually penalize you for betting one coin only.

It's possible to find 95% games where the 5of5 pays 838. In another thread I posted a pic from South Point. I'm sure it's available at some other places also, but I don't scout keno very often.

Do the neighborhood casinos owned by Station Casinos (Wildfire) have 9/6 machines?

I haven't looked recently, but no, at Wildfires I haven't seen anything better than 8/5 Bonus. They probably have 9/6 DDB, but not 9/6 JoB.
