Very strange for that region, what property was that?pokerforme wrote: ↑Sat Jun 04, 2022 5:29 pmActually just back from Reno and I agree it’s better for VP. Wasn’t at a CET property this time but did notice something I’ve literally never seen before. I don’t play JOB much if at all these days so maybe it’s not rare but after finishing off my session was waiting for the wife to finish hers and was just looking threw all the games on the machine I was sitting at. It’s ,25-1 multi denomination and when I got to the .50 and the $1 both were not only 9/6 but the royal on 5 coins for both denoms was 5000. Blew my mind. Would have banged away but was leaving right then. Put it in the wizards poker calculator and it comes out like 1.00067%. I have heard of finding stuff by looking but this is a first. The dueces also improved at those denominations but didn’t write that down but it was significantly better than anything I saw reported on vpfree. Can’t wait to get back and go after it, wonder if it was just a one machine error now.

The nugget. Was just stopping by for a gift and the free play. Don’t usually play there much if ever. Game was just where the floor goes towards cafe from main walking path/casino. Round carousel of 4-5 game kings. I remember there is a bar basically on the one side and if you looked towards the cafe you would be looking right at the round set up. First game kings after carousel of penny slots

Forgot to add it was the machine nearest the penny slot carousel. You would be sitting with your back to the bar and those slots. Haven’t had a chance to get back after it, good luck!

These machines are 9/6 JOB all right, but the royal is a short pay. I checked at least one machine in every VP bank at The Nugget, and the best I could find was 9/6 DDB. They have the largest variety of Bonus Poker paytables I've ever seen....almost every known paytable variation below 99.17% including the rare (but bad) 10/8 version that pays 1:1 for 2 pair.

I haven’t been back so I’m unsure if the bank I found is still there. A friend said they are doing some remodeling right in that general location and have a large section walled off.

If you don't mind being bored or are on a low bankroll the 500RF machines generally pay the same with one credit as they do with max credits. These machines are 9/6 JOB all right, but the royal is a short pay. We were in Reno this past Oct4 thru the ninth. Stayed at Western Village. 99.73 NSUD even at nickels and the royal bonus with 5 coin in. Played at Western Village and the Peppermill. Did a lot of exploring up to Tahoe and over to Sacramento. Had a good time. Went down and visited the row and did the river walk. Definitely a homeless problem there. Even in Sparks,we were approached by people for “spare change”.
Our room was very nice and no resort fee. Food in the casino was very good with large portions. My wife and I split several dinners they were so large.
We would definitely go back but prob would stay on the row next time. Best video poker I have experienced

Booked our trip out of Philly to Reno. Staying 4 nights at Silver Legacy. I was told there is a free shuttle to Tahoe daily but I'm beginning to question if that's so. Maybe depends on card level.
Also, my confirmation email is showing a resort fee of around $30/night. Not expected as I am Diamond elite. If I have to pay for shuttle and resort fees, that's coming out of the gaming funds and likely force lower denom play. I have AC booked 3 nights following weekend so I don't want to take a big loss in NV.
I'll have to see if I can comp a room in Tahoe concurrently. I suspect that will be an issue as well.

Not to my knowledge, but it may have escaped my attention.TripleTriple wrote: ↑Sat Jun 24, 2023 6:31 amI was told there is a free shuttle to Tahoe daily but I'm beginning to question if that's so.
No worries there imo. I've received confirmation emails with stray charges. Host told me their system has been like that for a long time. Also, my confirmation email is showing a resort fee of around $30/night. Not expected as I am Diamond elite.
Don't know, but I'd give better odds if you could book consecutively without overlap.I'll have to see if I can comp a room in Tahoe concurrently. I suspect that will be an issue as well.
