M Resort
Question for locals/regulars. Is there currently a mask mandate that is enforced ? If mandate is enforced do you see it ending soon ( I have a 3 night offer that I can use in April). Any info would be greatly appreciated as it will help me decide if I wish to use this offer.

Sisolak has a 10am press conference today. Rumor is he'll drop the mandate, but he backed himself into a corner as I understand. Restrictions are supposed to be guided by covid severity data, for which the numbers are worse now than when masks were implemented. Does this mean we're not masking hard enough? Or possibly masks are irrelevant.
In earlier days, there was a "western states pact" coordinating policy in five states (CA/OR/WA/CO/NV) with D governors, but I haven't heard about it lately. Some have speculated that Sisolak tends to copy Newsom -- who has just eliminated masks apparently, but only for vaxxed. In NV we already saw this movie. Back then it was on the honor system, so masks were effectively voluntary for casino patrons.

Gov SIssylack had to rescind the mandate, because (1) election is in November (bye bye Sissy) and (2) Superbowl profits and gaming wins are more important. (nice timing, Guv)
If you're visiting M for a few days, just know that dining options are extremely limited. You better like deli food. And, even the deli is no longer open 24 hours. Plus, unless you are Owner's Club level at M, there is no lounge anymore for Elite level members. (bye bye free bottled water and soda cans).
Lastly, if you haven't visited M for a year or more, be prepared for a vastly different clientele. The M crowd now is a bit "rough", to be polite.

Ted . . . YES!
I'm positive I saw that guy on the left at M just last week, wearing his Raiders jersey.

All joking aside, I've had a few good sessions at M and I hope it doesn't turn into a crap hole.

If you walk into M and hear a certain Elvis song playing where a mama cries (and its not Viva Las Vegas) you know what it turned into. If so, SouthPoint is right up the street.
SouthPoint had signs at all entrances about the mask mandate (and hourly announcements over the PA system) that mentioned that those who refuse to comply would be immediately asked to leave the property during Rodeo last December, but not one cowpoke was asked to leave. Thousands of them were just thumbing their nose at security when they tried to hand them a mask. Too much $$ was at stake.
