Covid again
My casino trips may be short-lived. Connecticut Covid rates are heading straight up again. Just found out this morning my brother just got it and he is fully vaccinated and boosted. Nancy Pelosi just got it and she was just standing next Biden unmasked. These last two mutants appear to pay no attention to prior vaccinations and boosters. Unfortunately I still think masks are the best protection at this point. I still wear one in the casino at all times except eating or drinking and then I make sure I am not near anyone

Sorry to hear. Your marathons are usually so interesting. Those comp rooms sound fantastic. I got it in January. One day of minor symptoms. My booster was February 28. It may or may not have helped me. But I'd become too complacent and blew off the booster. It was a bad gamble.

I hope that doesn't mean you're expecting your play results will resemble a train wreck?

Covid is on the rise big time here in Canada again. We just got nicely opened up here in Ontario and now doctors are complaining the hospitals are getting full again. Seems to be especially hard on younger children who aren't vaccinated.

You are correct that blowing off the booster is a bad gamble. I am afraid that Covid is going to keep coming in waves until eventually it becomes endemic. Getting the shots won't prevent infection but they will almost guarantee you will not have a severe case.FAA wrote: ↑Thu Apr 07, 2022 2:38 pmSorry to hear. Your marathons are usually so interesting. Agree about the value of the vaccinations for most people. I tested positive for Omicron in January. Had a relatively mild case with symptoms for a couple of days. Haven't gotten a second booster yet because I have antibodies in my system. Not sure of all casinos here in AZ but as of last month, concerning the ones I know about, all still ban smoking, and some still require masks. Masks are available if you need/want one.

Glad it was a mild case OTA. Stay safe and well. The casinos will be there whenever you feel like heading back.

Not only will they be there, a new one is being built about 2 miles driving distance from my house. I am a mile away from the reservation.olds442jetaway wrote: ↑Sat Apr 09, 2022 11:40 pmGlad it was a mild case OTA. Stay safe and well. The casinos will be there whenever you feel like heading back.
