About 18 months ago, I posted about making it to 20 achievements, courtesy of one of the then new achievement categories (making it to the host peanut gallery).
Now, I've made it to 21, having just won the April monthly contest. And, that is a really tough one in which to prevail. Previously, I've expressed my opinion that, to contend in the monthly, you need at least three royals (or the equivalent in other premium hands), and to actually win, you need four.
And, that is what had. Playing super double double bonus, I hit "only'" one royal, but an extraordinary number of quad aces, many with kickers. I believe I had quad aces with the premium (2,3 or4) kicker five times, and three more times with a face card kicker. And, there was at least a couple of "plain Jane" ones as well.
What a crazy game!
Now It's 21

Great achievement. I read your update where you noted you only had one RF but numerous AWAK. Congrats again.onemoretry wrote: ↑Sun May 01, 2022 7:46 amAbout 18 months ago, I posted about making it to 20 achievements, courtesy of one of the then new achievement categories (making it to the host peanut gallery).

Enjoy the iPad. Can you ballpark how many hours you spent on the monthly contest?

Ah, to watch you mow through five. Are you a speed reader too? A fast session takes me nine minutes. Then factor in setting up the next one. Five would take me an hour. It’s a major hassle.

Congrats, that is a very difficult game to win. I think webman should have a crown to award. Be nice to have something for the wall.

It doesn't feel to me like I'm playing particularly fast, but it does work out to a bit over 1000 deals per hour. That's a bit faster than I normally play in the casino (about 700 deals per hour). And, since you raised the question, I have checked, and my 25-30 minute estimate is accurate.
All I can suggest is that playing on a laptop computer perhaps facilitates the higher speed.
