Smoke-Free Casinos
Here is an updated list of smoke-free casinos. Health considerations should trump EV if you are a recreational player. Hopefully, one can find the best paytables in a smoke-free venue. https://smokefreecasinos.org/reopening- ... ew-normal/

Nothing makes sense. The list is almost all tribals. I was told tribals are unregulated and untrustworthy, yet they're at the forefront of environmental cleanliness.
Meanwhile, Nevada is hyper-regulated, and you can't even find a non-smoking section at many properties.
Btw, the linked list is mostly for casinos that went smoke-free after Covid. There's a "full directory" page which includes everything:

Plaza downtown Vegas will be going no smoking after they get done with the remodel. This will be the first no smoking casino downtown.
I remember when you were allowed to smoke in restaurants, hospitals and even airplanes. My kids have a hard time believing this. One day all casinos will be non smoking and future generations will find it hard to believe people were allowed to smoke anywhere indoors, other than your own house.
Change takes time but it is coming.

Afaik, Plaza is merely carving out a small no-smoking slots section. They're trumpeting it because apparently it's never been done downtown. I'm not sure of that, but I can't recall any specific example of a downtown no-smoking area.

I heard it was the other way around...it will be no smoking with a small area for smokers. Have to wait and see I guess.

Illinois casinos have been smoke free for many years now and haven't looked back.

It's not just casinos. Vegas is the king of smoky cities. There are many public places where you can smoke in Vegas unlike most other cities. I wonder what the lung cancer percentage is in Vegas? Every time I get home from Vegas my clothes stink of cigarette smoke!!! I look forward to the day when we have a smoke-free world!

Florida non-Indian casinos are smoke free.
Seminole Indian casinos allow smoking cigs and cigars! But they do have non-smoking areas.
