This makes absolutely no sense. You are clueless. If one left a baby/toddler in a hot car here for an hour they would be dead. https://www.abc15.com/news/region-phoen ... le#:~:text

I was referring to Olds’ reluctance to hit Cash Out!

On the subject of heat, I can hardly believe we're doing this, but we are going on a Caesar's junket to Laughlin next week. We knew when we booked it that it would be on the warm side, but we are not looking forward to daytime highs of 115, and nighttime "lows" of 90.
Forgive me for an attempt at humour when I say that booking this trip apparently wasn't a very hot idea but, as it's turned out, it's a really, really hot one!

Heat shouldn't be a problem. Casinos, hotels, restaurants, cars are all air-conditioned. You go from one to another. Been doing so out here for years (add house, supermarkets), etc. Just drink plenty of water and stay hydrated.onemoretry wrote: ↑Sat Jul 13, 2024 6:51 amOn the subject of heat, I can hardly believe we're doing this, but we are going on a Caesar's junket to Laughlin next week. I was thinking about going to my local casino tonight but decided not to go. Not the heat, but a dust storm warning. You don't want to be caught in a haboob.

I have been in Las Vegas for the last 5 days. Today was the first day below 115 (I think). I actually get cold in the casino and really enjoy going out in the heat for a short walk. Once I get hot I go back inside. Rinse and repeat. It reminds me of standing in front or furnace in winter getting that blast of cold air. If I had to work in this heat I am sure I would have a different opinion. 3 more days then back to Canada and 80 degrees.

You got it Case. I carry a sweatshirt in the car when I go a casino in the summer. As you said, it gets so cold inside that I have had to put the sweatshirt on to be comfortable while playing.case wrote: ↑Sun Jul 14, 2024 9:12 pmI have been in Las Vegas for the last 5 days.
