I've been playing video poker for a little over 20 years at nickel and dime denominations, but recently have been playing quarters or multi-lines at all different denominations.
This was dealt to me on a Double Double Bonus Super Times Pay machine on dimes with 5 lines and a 4X multiplier for $1,600.
Since it wasn't the absolute nuts, I still had to hold each card before getting paid, and I knew it was something significant, but had no idea it was of a hand pay amount until the screen locked up.
This happened at Hollywood Casino St. Louis (Maryland Heights) which is the only casino I play since it's less than 10 minutes from my home.
It's certainly a nice feeling when the attendant is counting out Benjamins in your hand, that's for sure!
