R.I.P. Gene Hackman
You will be missed. I couldn't decide which picture to post from his most iconic roles, I figured this would be a good alternate.

One of if not my favorite. I have been reading everything about the sad event and all of the updates. If you haven’t already, listen to the glowing comments made about the couple by their contractor of more than 15 years. Thanks for posting Ted.

He was an "Everyman Actor." It's sad that a couple people I know have never watched "Hoosiers."

My favorite Hackman film was the French Connection. The reason, the chase scene under the West End el on 86th Street and New Utrecht Avenue. I drove there many times. My old stomping grounds.

Great chase scene, OTA. I especially liked how it ended, Popeye Doyle putting one right between the bad guy's eyes.

Ditto. I still can’t believe he’s gone. I fell almost the same way when Steve McQueen died. Totally different personalities and various issues, but I loved the movies he starred in. I would love to have met Gene Hackman.

He lived the dream. Despite being a huge film and sports fan, I’ve never seen “Hoosiers” either. Waited for a theatrical screening. Unfortunately, one is now much more likely as part of a retrospective.
