What your simulation(s) do not take into account or replicate is the actual WAY ac vp machines operate.   The paytables in AC are NOT what drives the machines return percent down into the lower slot ranges.   What the machines are doing is they are actually SET internally to simply deal more random crap in the mix of hands they put out


Actually my simulation doesn't have to use real poker probabilities either. It basically just selects the final result based on preselected probabilities exactly like a slot machine would. I have to use a poker calculator for proper input if I want the probabilities to match up to real video poker machines. Not like I have to. I can randomly throw crap together, and depending on how many rounds you play, getting below 72% will be awfully difficult, even if it's set exactly at 83.00000% long term.

Note I am not even talking about it behaving like a video poker machine anymore. Depending on how many rounds played, a result as low as 72% becomes more and more difficult to achieve. The structure of Bonus Poker has to totally unravel. It would need a higher variance like Triple Double Bonus instead.

Atlantic City faces drop in tax revenue from casino closure

The governor's hollow words basically say it all......"we need to see progress, or else....."   No statement as to specifics, namely what type of progress, or how much exactly.....nothing useful or helpful, just vague generalities and stating the obvious.....No one has a clue, or is willing to say or do what is neccessary.  They need to loosen al machines and then advertise the crap out of the fact they did just that....they need revenue, which means they need to attract BACK the gamblers they have lost, which means they must give them a reason to return, which means slot free play, free rooms even to people who have not shown up or played enough to earn them the regular route, free food, you name it. anything to get people into the casinos and dropping money in all those brand new machines they have installed.   AC currently reaches saturation with about 7 to 8 of its casinos,it just does not have the customers anymore to support all 11.......Trump Plaza needs to close, and so does Revel.   But of course that wont happen, so the only answer is to lure people back.....

AC job fair sought to fill 1,800 positions. It ended early, as only 20 people showed up. Can you say snake eyes?

I know people in AC that are collecting the extra $300 per week in fed benefits, that run thru September. There is no incentive for these folks to work this summer, only to get laid off when things slow down in the fall. Then they are ineligible for the extra fed benefit if it gets extended past September, which it probably will be. Law of unintended consequences.

And those with children are getting extra $$$ to stay home. I guess eventually, businesses will be forced to pay more than government if they want to stay open and of course that extra payroll will have to pass on to the rising cost of goods. And so on....
