It's like the JG Wentworth commercial, but the casino is saying, "it's your money, and we want it now." To hell with you coming here and playing by your own volition, we have to make at least ten bucks for looking at your dirty, ugly, poor, face. Then, on top of resort fees, parking fees, and a room tax to pay for a stadium, that's like $50 a day just to go to the casino. It might even kill the stadium deal, which might not be so bad, because that whole deal is dirty.

first post here, but it's not like they had much of a choice. Easiest thing to do once MGM started charging was to park at CET. Even if you're staying at Mlife there are many locations where parking at CET would be free and fairly convenient.

Wife and I always rent a car and drive to the strip frequently during our weekly getaway, now it seems like with Uber and Lyft the rental makes no sense.

The Cosmopolitan is following suit, can't blame them since people trying to use them to avoid paying the cost to the neighboring MGM and CET properties.

a dollar here and a dollar there - adds up - same as the airlines - need a calculator in hand to find the best airfare. Makes you not want to go out on vacation anymore with all the added fees - you can't count on a budget.

The Tampa Hard Rock tried this late last year.    I'm sure they got the idea from the MGM in Vegas.  They rescinded it a few months later.  Parking in Tampa made no sense as many of the patrons were short time visitors from the Orlando theme parks or seniors on a budget.  Vegas is different.   The strip is the Vegas theme park and no casino wants to be the parking lot for hordes of gawkers cruising the entire strip.  The Hollywood Hard Rock never charged for parking.  However, if you stay at one of the South Florida oceanfront hotels they charge you $25 a day for parking and add it to your bill.
