Different video poker games are made by adjusting the jackpot categories and by how much you are paid for the various categories. Below is a brief description of some of the elements that makes each game unique and fun. There are many pay tables within each game family, but these are the highlights that are distinctive. The number of coins mentioned presumes you’re betting max bet, or 5 coins per hand:
Deuces Wild Bonus is essentially Deuces with a kicker opportunity and 5-of-a-kinds broken out into bigger jackpots. Four 2s with an ace kicker pays a big 2,000 coins. Five aces pays 400, five 3s–5s pays 200, and five 6s-Ks pays 100. The reduction in the payout for a straight is a significant giveback that calls for key adjustments in strategy.
This is the second most popular pay schedule, due in great part to the game's high hit frequency. The even-money payoff requires that you make 3-of-a-kind, but the presence of four wild cards greatly enhances this prospect, and makes for lots of straights, flushes, and full houses. Four deuces pays a sizable 1,000 credits. Paytables are tightened in this game by reducing the payouts for straight flushes, and 4- and 5-of-a-kinds.
Aces with a 2, 3 or, 4 "kicker" pays 2,000. Four aces without a kicker or quad 2s-4s with an ace, 2, 3, or 4 kicker pays 800. To compensate for these juicy jackpots, the full house is usually reduced by one or two coins. Double Double is the most popular game in Nevada. Playing it can result in a great or rough ride, but it's rarely dull.
Double Down Stud Poker explodes with vibrant new life on the Game King platform, with enhanced digital stereo sound, touchscreen convenience, EZ Pay ticket functionality, multi-denomination wagering, and progressive capabilities.
Game play starts by dealing a four-card hand. The player can complete the hand in normal fashion by drawing a fifth card, or if the first four have potential to form a winning hand - from as little as a pair of 6s or better - the player can double the wager before pressing the Draw button for a chance to win up to 20,000 credits for a royal flush.
Jacks or Better is a straightforward game with relatively low volatility, which means you can often play it for longer periods of time than other video poker pay schedules. As the name implies, it pays even money for a pair of jacks or better. All 4-of-a kinds pay 125 coins.
This game is primarily popular on the east coast in Atlantic City. The deck has 53 cards, due to the addition of one joker. The royal (without the joker) on this game often pays 4,700 coins. This is because the extra card in the deck lengthens the odds of hitting it. The 5-of-a-kind pays 1,000. These higher jackpots are compensated for by counting only kings or better as a high pair.
Pick a Pair is a simple game that has proven very popular over time. Players get to see the first two cards of a hand and then pick one pile of three cards to complete the hand from two piles where all the player can see is the top, or third, card. A fast playing game that is easy on the mind.
Turn a 3-of-a-kind hand into a 4-of-a-kind Quad winner!
A sixth credit wagered funds the bonus without taking anything away from the standard paytable. After the draw, if the player's hand is a 3-of-a-kind, the two non-matching cards – ace (1) through 9 – are added together. If the sum is equal to the rank of the 3-of-a-kind, the player is awarded the 4-of-a-kind pay. Only 3-of-a-kind 2s through 10s can be made 4-of-a-kind using the bonus feature.

Random Rewards® Poker adds a new element of anticipation to the gaming experience. Several lower ranking hand combinations – from the flush to the straight flush – have randomly designated jackpots, up to 2,000 additional credits per qualified hand.
Royal Aces Bonus is the granddaddy of high-variance games, paying 4,000 coins for both a royal flush and four aces, but also requiring a pair of aces to return even money. Two pair also pays even money. The payouts on the other quads and mid-level hands are also high, but the aces-or-better minimum means that 70% of hands will be no-pays.
Super Aces is a gem that has also grown in popularity over the past few years. This is especially true in multi-hand games where players like dumping full houses with aces and "going for it." Four aces pays 2,000, no kicker necessary. All quad 2s–4s pay 400. Eliminating the kicker bonuses and taking a coin off the full house payout is the giveback.
This schedule doesn't offer huge jackpots, but pays more on a new jackpot category-- four jacks, queens, or kings -- which pay 600 coins each. Four aces pays 800, 2s-4s pay 400, and 5s-10s pay 250. SDB also pays 400 coins on the often ignored straight flush.
Four aces with a 2, 3, or 4 kicker pays 4,000 coins, the same as a royal. Four 2s–4s with ace, 2, 3, or 4 pays 2,000, which is the same as aces with a kicker in Double Double Bonus. You still get 800 for aces and 400 for 2s–4s. The payouts for full house, flush, and straight are good, but you get only 2 coins for 3-of-a-kind instead of 3. You make 3-of-a-kind more than you realize, so this reduction is costly. make However, if you make a quad or two early, you're in the hunt for big jackpots and a mean rush when you hit aces and that kicker.
A 4-of-a-kind hand is a thrill for any player. Throw in a buy-a-pay bonus that rewards those wins and you’ve got the ultimate combination of poker action and bonus excitement!
As a tribute to serious quad-seekers, a 6-credit bet awards the standard base game paytable win for a 4-of-a-kind, and initiates a distinctive pick ’em bonus round.
In the bonus, 53 cards are presented face down – a standard deck plus one joker. The player is prompted to select 1, 2, or 3 cards, depending on the rank of the initiating 4-of-a-kind. A dealt 4-of-a-kind awards one additional pick. The player wins the total number of credits accumulated through all picks unless the joker is revealed, in which case the total bonus win jumps to 3,996 credits, ending the bonus.
The payoff can be sweet!
This game, long known as "All American Poker," pays 8 coins for full house, flush, and straight, which results in a high return with low risk. The uniform mid-level pays also call for many strategy adjustments. Some versions pay less due to a reduction in the payout for 4-of-a-kind.

Now, when you wager 6 to 10 credits per hand and win, the highest ranking card dealt determines how many times your winnings will be multiplied. But there's a twist! When dealt a pair of jacks, queens, or kings with a maximum bet, the game gives players the opportunity to play the original hand for a guaranteed win, or trade cards and chase the royal. If the player goes for the exchange, the game deals 3 cards from a single-suit deck of ten through ace seed cards toward a royal flush. The 3 cards replace the original 5-card hand and are duplicated in all active hands. The game then draws 2 additional cards per hand. To further sweeten the pot, the pay table doubles when a flush or a straight is dealt.
